The document provides instructions for detailing the edges of sheet metal rose petals using a chipping hammer. It describes hammering the edges of each petal to create a more flower-like appearance, noting that this step requires tiring the arms. Next, it instructs on making a star-shaped piece of sheet metal by drawing, cutting, and center-punching. Safety equipment like gloves and safety glasses are recommended. Finally, it details drilling holes in the star and twisting the petals inward using needle-nose pliers.

hammer the edges on the rose to make a more flower type scene. This step wasn’t easy for me to do as it was tiring on my arms. But you will need to go this to every petal on every single sheet metal.
You will need to wear gloves, goggles and
headphones Make The Star
• When making the star, you will need another
piece of sheet metal, this time it does not have to be as big, a smaller piece will be enough. Once you get the piece, whether you cut it yourself, or if there was already a good piece, you will want to draw a star. The star doesn’t have to be perfect, but just needs to have 5 points. After you draw on it, you will get straight tin snips and cut the star out.
You will need gloves and safety glasses
Center Punch Star
• Once you cut out the star, you will need to
center punch the star because, as we did with the petals, the drill will drill perfectly through the metal, and not scatter on the metal. First you will need to find the center point of the star. Then you are going to use a center punch and a hammer to make an indent on your metal.
You will need gloves and headphones.
Drilling The Hole and twisting pedals • When drilling the holes, you must make sure that the teeth of the drill bit isn't in the clamp on the drill. Then make sure that the drill isn't on reverse. You also want to make sure you are putting a little bit of pressure while you do this, but not too much, as the drill bit will snap off or get damaged. You will want to make sure that you are drilling on to a wood material that is kept in the class. • You will need glasses and headphones • Using 2 needle nose pliers, I will then get the star and twist the 5 hands inwards. I will need to make sure that the hands are tight and closed together and that they look good and evenly matched.
