Established in 2009 under Act 4 of 2008 of the State of Odisha,
the National Law University Odisha (NLU Odisha) stands as
one of the youngest and most dynamic institutes offering
premium legal education in India. Committed to creating
accomplished professionals who are socially responsive and
adaptable to the dynamic field of Law, the university has quickly
made its mark in the legal fraternity. Guided by a dedicated pool
of academicians, students at NLU Odisha have the unique
opportunity for interdisciplinary exploration, a crucial aspect in
today's legal profession.
Nestled in a lush green campus spanning 60 acres, the university
boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure, providing students with an

The Sports Committee of National Law University
Odisha is excited to announce the return of the 7th
Edition of our annual inter-university sports festival,
VIRAJ 2024, which is set to be even more spectacular
this time around. VIRAJ spans three days and offers
a thrilling combination of sports events, vibrant
cultural evenings, and lively DJ nights. This festival
embodies the true essence of sportsmanship,
perseverance, and ambition, serving as a testament
to continuous hard work. Over the previous editions,
Viraj has seen active participation from prestigious
law schools, prominent medical and engineering
institutions, and renowned business schools. In line
with this tradition, we warmly invite your esteemed
University/Institute to join us in this magnificent
celebration.
The Sports Committee, in partnership with The
Legal Services Committee and IDIA, Odisha,
orchestrates sports events such as VIRAJ for
Specially-abled individuals. This initiative aims to
promote a sports culture that embraces inclusivity
for all segments of society. We strive to uphold the
principles that sports transcend limitations and
that disabilities are more constrained by societal
barriers than by the impairments themselves.
Hence, we cordially invite your esteemed
University/Institute to partake in VIRAJ for
Specially-abled, contributing to the spirit of
inclusiveness and diversity in sports.

level! Brace yourselves for the ultimate trio - VIRAJ 2024,
Kairaan, and the NLUO British Parliamentary Debate are
converging for a three-day fiesta you won't want to miss!
This is the perfect blend of sports, culture, and
debates, all jam-packed into one insane
weekend. With artists like Ritviz, Lost Stories,
Trap, Underground Authority & DJ Carnivore,
this year is set to be amazing than ever.

Referred as the cultural capital of Cuttack is a city
where history is beautifully intertwined with its modern and
progressive present. Cuttack is always buzzing with cultural
activities and plays host to a variety of festivals. Local
handicrafts of the state are displayed and traded in this very
city. Located on a peninsula flanked by the beautiful
Mahanadi River to the North and the Kathajodi River to the
South, Cuttack never fails to impress a person in any aspect.
Further, the cities of Bhubaneswar, Puri, Konark and many
more make the visit to Odisha even better. The city of
Bhubaneswar also known for being the center for commerce
and business caters to everyone’s interests with attractions
ranging from bustling restaurants to majestic temples. Puri
on the other hand never fails to leave one’s heart when one
visits the beautiful beaches and resorts. Lastly, the pride of
Odisha – Konark, holds one of the most beautiful monuments
of India, the Sun Temple, which is an architectural marvel
renowned world over as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
