ABOUT THE BUSES

The major reasons for selecting the bus
over other modes of travel are
convenience and economy. Many
passengers are adventurous college
students from the United States and
abroad or senior citizens, both with limited
funds but plenty of time on their hands.
FAMOUS BUSES

Some bus companies even offer

services such as destination-
management, incentive
programs, and planning of
meetings, events, and
conferences. Several
companies to check out are
Gray Line Worldwide, Contiki
Tours, and Canadian Tours
International. Page 04/09

ADVANTAGE OF TRAVELING BY BUS

CHEAP BUS TICKETS

You can usually find tickets at a 50% discount and there are also regular
discounts for children, students and seniors. And when you think how much
money you have saved up with bus travel instead of let’s say, traveling by
car (gas costs, toll costs, etc.), then it is pretty much obvious why buses are
the most economic option.

OCCASIONAL STOPS AND BREAKS

Traveling long distances can be a hassle if you are traveling by train
or plane, especially if you are a person who can’t sit for too long.
When traveling by bus, bus drivers make a few shorter breaks and
one longer break so you can stretch your legs, grab a cup of coffee
and have a quick meal.

POWER OUTLETS AND WI-FI

A lot of bus carriers have finally realized what is that the
passengers need the most when traveling long distances – a power
socket and free Internet! If you think about it, there’s really no form
of transportation that provides this benefit besides buses.

THE CANCELLATION POLICY

The majority of bus carriers allow canceling tickets with a full

refund or with a minimal cancellation fee and you don’t even have
to have a valid reason. It just usually needs to be canceled at
least 48 hours before the departure, but that still depends from
carrier to carrier. In any case, you will get the most of your money
back.
