vA leader must be confident enough while communicating
with others. People must be able to believe
communication made by the leader.
vA genuine leader always communicates the rules clearly
to the team and follows the rules which are expected to
be followed by others. This indirectly conveys that the
leader is capable enough to do what is expects from
his/her subordinates.
vA leader must also emphasise on effective listening
rather the completely focusing on effective speaking,
because to hear patiently is as significant as to say
effectively.
vA leader has to be sure while sending messages to his
team because a wrong message may end up in conflict
or a difference in opinion. The message should be
clear, precise and properly written.
vA leader must be aware about the use of all
communication technologies and channels like, face-
to-face meetings, video conferences, telephone
conferences, emails, etc. to keep in touch with
teammates and to motivate them from time to time.
vAn effective leader must always encourage feedback
system to improve workplace environment. Feedback
will help to overcome shortcomings and to rectify
errors if any.
