Note: Kanojora is used for a group of two or more people that consists of all
females. Karerais used for a group of two or more people that includes at least one
male.
There is also the informal "Boku" and "Ore", personal pronouns used by males. Boys
tend to use "Boku" when describing themselves until early adolescence. Teenage and
college aged males use "Ore" to give off a rough or coarse impression. In films,
this is a typical first person pronoun for Yakuza gangsters. You should never use
"Ore" in a formal setting, however, because it is considered rude.
