Hi, My name is Gerlyn M.

Solocio, 18 years old and currently
living in Brgy. San Jose City of
Koronadal, South Cotabato. I am a first
year college at MSST and taking the
course of Bachelor in Technical-
Vocational Teaching Education- Major
in Food Service and Management
(BTVTED-FSM).
I am the 2nd child from the oldest among the 4 children
of my parents. I love arts, philosophy, logic and music,
then when it comes to hobbies, I love watching
MSA/Anime or cartoons, drawing and the most is taking
care of our garden around outside of our house, and one
of my favorite plant among them is the cactus and
succulents.
And of course food, My favorite food is Tortang
Talong it is a boiled egg-plant that peeled skin, flatened
and covered with scrambled egg then fried and Humba, it
is just like a adobo but has a sweeter taste and lot of pork
fats. Then lastly In studies, sometimes I pressured my self
and do everything that I can to aim a high grades. I have a
quote in life and that is “ You just know my name but not
my whole story, you have no right to judge me”.

 INTRODUCTION

National Service Training Program or also know as

NSTP Act of 2001 (R.A 9163), This act affirms that prime
duty of the government shall be to serve and protect its
citizen. NSTP is a program aimed at enhancing civic
consciousness and preparedness in the youth by
developing the ethics of components. In college curriculum
NSTP is needed it is because it will prepare every
students to socially aware and be a responsible individual
as a member of the community. As one of the student of
NSTP here at MSST, I can prove that NSTP help, not only
me but also my fellow classmates in improving our skills,
knowledge, attitude, social well-being and responsiveness
not only in school but also in our community.

community service here at school of Marbel School
of Science and Technology (MSST), together with
our beloved teacher Ma’am Gemma B. Glimada.

This day, me and my classmates clean our school, cut the

tree, pull the grass and throw the trash together with out
with our teacher ma’am Gemma.
 NSTP OPLAN BASURA ATTACK
At 7 am we arrive at China Town in order to help our
beloved City Mayor Bibot Ohina in his program named
Oplan Basura Attack. Together with our City council and
Criminology Department. The NSTP student volunteer to
clean the street of china town.

At this point were packing the donation like foods slippers
clothes and etc. For the up coming program of NSTP.
NSTP 3RD COMMUNITY SERVICE
At this point the students of NSTP, teachers, parents,
children and most important of all our School Dean
Godofredo N. Guya unite for that special day not only for
the children but also for everybody. This day we conduct
the distribution of donation, foods, drinks, having a parlor
games for parents, children and students. And the

highlight of the event the distribution of money sponsored

by our Dean.

I would like to think the following for helping me achieve my

goals as a NSTP student. First thank you so much ma’am
Gemma B. Glimada for teaching, making us happy, listening for
our different stories and complain, crying with us and always
reminding us to be kind to everyone. Your one of the best teacher
that I have. Your kindness and being unstoppable will always
mark in my heart. Thank you ma’am for making me realize my
mistakes. It really suit on you the tag line “ Small but terrible”. I
salute you ma’am for all you’re achievement. Good luck for your
up coming journey ma’am and God bless you always. Second I
would like to thank my classmates for letting me experience that
wonderful journey of my life, especially in Happiness, sadness,
new experience, and helping me to anything. Let’s all continue
our next chapter and never give up. Good luck to all of us. Third I
would like to thank my parents for always there for the start.
Thank you for letting me study, for always teaching me new
lesson in life and for making me strong everyday. I wish you
would never give up on me and stay healthy always. Last I want
to thank the best person I have right now my comfort zone, my
adviser, my strength and also my beloved lover. I would like to
thank my boyfriend for everything he done for me especially for
being my crying shoulder if I have a problem, a great listener in
my different complain in life. The one who makes me happy
everything and one of the reasons why I’m doing my best in order
to succeed. Thank you very much for everything. Take care
always and always remember that I’m always here if you need
me. Let’s create our own book from front once upon a time to the
end with full of happiness and exciting memories.
