1. Introduction
The objective of this paper is to review the organizational behavior topics and evaluate
myself using associated questionnaires. The introduction to the task appears first by an
introduction about Organizational Behavior and an introduction about me. Then identified
three key priority areas for my improvement and discuss why such areas are important for
my career. Later I constructed a self-development plan using IRTOO tabular form with Issue,
Recommendation, Timeline, Output and Outcome.
Organizational behavior is the study of how individuals, groups, and organizations behave
within an organizational context to interact and influence one another. Social Psychology
which consists of Psychology, Anthropology, and Sociology contributes to the development
of organizational behavior. Communication, motivation, leadership, and decision-making are
essential understanding and improving the dynamics within an organization. Organizational
Behavior explores these towards the improvement of an organization’s effectiveness.

4. What is Belbin Team Role Theory?
Dr. Meredith Belbin is a British researcher and a management theorist. He is best known for
his work on team roles. Dr. Belbin was born in 1926 and he developed the Belbin Team Role
Theory. Belbin Team Role Theory identifies different roles that individuals naturally adopt in
team setting. In his research at Henley Management College, he identified nine team roles,
each associated with specific behaviors and contributions to group dynamics.
Dr. Belbin emphasizes in his work the importance of having a diverse team including
members who can perform various roles to achieve effective collaboration and optimal
performance. The nine team roles identified by Dr. Belbin are:
4
According to Dr. Belbin, a balance of these roles should be visible in a successful team. Each
member in a team must be aware of their own preferred roles as well as those of their
teammates. This awareness helps teams to grip the strength of each member and compensate
for weaknesses. It will ultimately lead to more effective collaboration and improved team
performance.
In contrast to the above positive point of me, I am having weaker inclinations towards
Specialist, Completer/Finisher, and Resource Investigator. Specialists typically bring in-
depth knowledge, Completer/Finishers ensure accuracy, and Resource Investigators explore
external opportunities. While these may not be my primary roles, it's essential to recognize
that diversity in a team is valuable. Collaborating with individuals strong in these roles can
enhance overall team effectiveness, as my strengths in implementer, shaper, and
monitor/evaluator can complement and balance the team dynamic. Awareness of my
preferences allows me to leverage strengths and collaborate effectively for well-rounded
outcomes.

5. What is Jungian 16 – Type Personality Assessment?
The Jungian 16-Type Personality Assessment, often associated with the Myers-Briggs Type
Indicator (MBTI), is based on Carl Jung's theory of psychological types. It sorts individuals
into 16 personality types based on four pairs of traits. However, individuals may not neatly
fit into these categories.
1. Extraversion (E) vs. Introversion (I) How you direct and receive energy.
2. Sensing (S) vs. Intuition (N) How you prefer to take in information.
3. Thinking (T) vs. Feeling (F) How you prefer to make decisions.
4. Judging (J) vs. Perceiving (P) Your orientation towards structure and planning.

world a better place
These dichotomies result in 16 possible personality types like ISTJ or ENFP. The assessment
typically involves a series of questions to determine preferences, and the resulting type is
believed to offer insights into an individual's natural inclinations, communication style, and
approach to problem-solving. It's widely used in personal development, career counseling,
and team-building exercises. Although, it provides a framework, individual personalities are
complex and may not fit neatly into these categories.
7
Although INTP of Jungian 16 – Type Personality Assessment indicates my strength, some
potential challenges might include a tendency to be overly critical, reserved in social
situations, and occasionally indifferent to practical matters. INTPs may find it challenging to
initiate or engage in small talk and may need to consciously work on effective
communication and considering the emotional aspects of decisions. Recognizing these
tendencies can help me navigate social and practical aspects more effectively.
The basic personality assessment is a tool or process designed to evaluate and understand
fundamental aspects of an individual's personality. It typically involves answering a series of
questions or engaging in activities that help identify traits, preferences, and behavioral
tendencies. This assessment aims to provide insights into how a person thinks, feels, and
behaves in various situations. Basic personality assessments can be valuable for self-
awareness, personal development, career-planning, and understanding interpersonal
dynamics.
In relation to the careful analysis of the scores obtained from basic personality assessment
questionnaire I believe that my scores suggest a fairly balanced personality profile.

with a good balance across different traits. But I need to keep in mind that personality
assessments provide general insights, and individual behavior can still vary based on specific
situations and personal growth over time.
