Sleep deprivation means the lack of sleep or irregular sleep schedule due to many factors. Almost a huge
percentage of our generation doesn’t have proper sleeping schedule due to which our academic
performance and daily life was disturbed.

There are many reasons of sleep deprivation and they have huge impacts . One of the major cause of
sleep deprivation is no proper scheduling or time managing due to which there is lack of concentration
on studies. The addiction of social media usage before bed time disturbed our sleep and we didn’t rest
properly. Even if we rest, when we wake up we didn’t feel refresh. Our stress and anxiety level increases
due to less sleeping time.

As a result, all of these equally affect our academic performance, we have bad grades. Students need to
make their proper sleeping schedule, also don’t over burden themselves with studies. Cut down the
excess usage of social apps and take a nap of at least 7 to 8 hours.
