I. Product Overview
Brief information about the SafeNet Authentication service

Djezzy SafeNet Authentication service "One-Time-Password" delivers fully-automated, highly

secure authentication that allow users to authenticate towards applications where passwords are
not enough.

This document provides information about how to install and use the SafeNet Authentication
Application called "SafeNet MobilePass+" in order to generate token using Android and IOS
mobile.

II. SafeNet Authentication Application
Brief information about the SafeNet Authentication Application “SafeNet MobilePass+”

SafeNet MobilePASS+ is a mobile client application that allow users to generate tokens on mobile
device, and use those tokens to authenticate to protected applications.

SafeNet Authentication application prerequisites are :

- Mobile device :
You must own a mobile device with Internet connectivity to download a token application.
- Confirmation E-Mail :
You should receive an E-mail, confirming that your account is ready to be used for SafeNet
Authentication Service.

Installation of the application

SafeNet MobilePASS+ application has to be downloaded and installed onto your mobile device
prior to generation.

Application can be downloaded directly on your mobile device from :

Google Play Store for Android devices App Store for IOS devices

 III.OTP Token Generation Steps
Mail Notification

Once the application has been successfully installed on your mobile device, you can start the
generation process.

After your administrator configure your account, you will receive a notification email from
Djezzy_OTP@djezzy.dz.

To generate your token please navigate to the

link from your mobile device.

Once you tap the notification email link, SafeNet Authentication

Service – token generation web page will be opened on your
mobile device.

To continue the generation, please tap

PIN code configuration

At this step, the application will ask you to provide a security code "PIN Code" to protect your
token. Enter a token PIN, confirm, and tap Submit.

The type and number of characters required for the PIN is displayed above the Submit button.

 PIN Code is on 4 digits "numeric characters"

 Shouldn’t be a sequence of same character
For example : × 1111 4569

Token generation

To complete the generation, please Click on "OK" button.

Your token is now generated and ready to use.
Since now, accessing to your token will ask you to provide your PIN code.

 IV.VPN Authentication Using OTP
Once your OTP Token has been successfully generated on Your mobile device, you can now
authenticate on VPN using your Token.
• Navigate to the following link https://vpn.djezzy.dz/.
• Login using your username and password. Click "logon" button.
• Provide your "Token" as shown on SafeNet MobilePASS+ application and click on the "logon"
button.

Mobile Token

If your Token is functioning properly, you will be redirect to the page asking for IP Address.

What should i know?

Q: What is MobilePass+ application

A: As a MobilePass+ user you can generate tokens that are similar to a password but valid for a
single use and use them to connect to your applications. MobilePass+ provides you a secure
remote access.

Q: What is MobilePass+ token

A: Mobilepass+ tokens are software tokens contained in the mobile application. You can use these
tokens known as OTP (One-Time-Password) to connect to applications. These tokens do not
require an internet connection to work.

Q: Why use token to authenticate

A: Password stealing is the most common method used by hackers to gain unauthorized access.
The success of using OTP is that the hacker will not be able to access the application even if the
password has been stolen. Using OTP, any attempt to reuse the token will fail and alert your
administrators.

What should i know?

Q: What to do if I didn’t receive an email of token generation

A: If you didn’t receive your token generation email, please contact your administrator to restart
the procedure. Also be sure to check your spam box.

Q: How to protect your token

A: User’s token are generated from their mobiles that are easily accessible by others. In order to
protect tokens, users should configure a PIN code when generationg the token.

Q: How to protect my PIN code

A: If your token is protected by a pin code. do not share it with anyone. It is therefore
recommended not to communicate it.

Q: What if i forgot my PIN code

A: If you have forgot your PIN code, please contact your administrator to replace the
corresponding token.
