NEW SKILL/S LEARNED IN INTERNSHIP TRAINING

As an intern of SM Prime Holdings, Inc., I learned many valuable skills that I


can apply in real life. My communication skill is improving because I interact
with different unit owners through call that is why it gives me the opportunity
to communicate effectively and professionally. At first, I thought that I cannot
handle being a customer service intern because it involves interactions with
different people and I expect that I will encounter many irate clients. However,
as time goes by, I learned to communicate effectively and professionally.
Learning to step into the shoes of others has not only enhanced my ability to
understand and address concerns but has also fostered a more compassionate
approach to solve their problems. Another skill that I learned is patience
because dealing with irate unit owners demanded not only a professional
demeanor but also the ability to navigate challenging situations by remaining
calm. Being calm helps me to be an active listener and helps them with their
concerns. The meticulous task of encoding remarks and payment commitments
in Microsoft Excel has significantly bolstered my attention to detail.

In conclusion, my internship experience has been a journey of growth and


opportunities, equipping me with a well-rounded skill set that extends beyond
the immediate scope of customer service and building a professional
connection. The lessons learned and skills acquired have not only prepared me
for the challenges of the real estate industry but have also laid a foundation for
my continued professional development. Furthermore, I am grateful because
the role given to me will help me to be a better version of myself.
