1. Product Description

ReBoVase is a recycled bottle wrapped in abaca fibers and used as a flower vase.
In our modern time, garbage pollution is one of the main problems we humans face
everyday. ReboVase offers a way to minimize garbage outputs by recycling old or used
glass bottles, and then turning them into a work of art that can be used in our daily lives.
The main material used in ReBoVase is abaca, abaca fibers that are turned into a small
rope will wrap the bottle and will give it a more organic and natural look. Abaca was
selected as the main material in this product because of its cheap cost, and durability.
Furthermore abaca is abundant in bicol so its availability will not be an issue. To
improve its appearance, surface of the wrapped bottle will be used to place decorations
made out of yarn to add a cute and appealing vibe to it. The small details coming from
the yarn will be able to attract the customers’ eyes. Because of the overall cheapness of
the materials used in making the ReBoVase, the price wouldn’t be that expensive. The
overall functionality of the product will rely on its simple and aesthetic appearance, that
can serve as home decorations.

3. Prototype Testing to Achieve My Goals

The prototype testing of ReBoVase will be conducted through random sampling.

50 random people will be chosen to experience the prototype of ReBoVase. After
handing out the prototypes, all receivers of the product will be answering surveys and
questionnaire. These surveys and questionnaires will consist of close-ended and open-
ended questions to determine their first impression about the product. After a month,
ones who received the product will give their feedback about the product’s functionality
after a long period of time. The collected feedbacks fro the respondents will help in
identifying the good traits and the flaws of the products. With this, it will determine if
adjustments and changes must be made to improve the overall quality and cost of the
product. These methods of testing will be done in order to assure that if the product
was released in the market, it would lead to sales and profit.
