The atmosphere that this paint recreates is very romantic, you can imagen a beautiful night with your
lover, walking throught the park, on the bridge near the mansion enjoying the view of the river. I can
even feel that it’s a cold but pleasant night.
In this paint we can see different shapes and colors, I choose this one because I like the way that the
artists use a diferrent mix of colors to make it seems like a illuminated night. On this painting the artist
make it see that the lanterns are on with the highlight that are on the trees and the shadow that are in
the river, like its crystal clear and everything is reflected. I can perceive the colors royal blue, light
blue, orange, yellow, black, green, purple, a little bit of pink, white, red, brown, gray and many more.
Here we can se different shape like little squares, circles, triangles, rectangles, and oval. Some of the
shapes are flat, but some of them like the bridge are two dimensional to gives us the effect that
there’s a river under the bridge and a park about. Also we can see people over the bridge, and the
park like they’re walking.
As we can see this is a oil painting. This slow drying medium is composed of color pigments
suspended in oil. Because of the long drying time, artists can take their time producing the work. Oil
paint is often used to create wonderful textures thanks to its thick consistency. Although it can be very
messy and you have to be careful when working with media that contains toxic elements, it’s still
loved by artists thanks to the rich colors it produces.
