2. Thư phàn nàn
Dear Manager,
My name is Anna, and I am an employee in the sales department. I’m one of the customers
who have experienced your services and food at your restaurant recently. And I was not
satisfied with them.
I am writing to make a complaint of about one thing which made me unsatisfied because of
the food and services. First on service, the staff attitude (thái độ) was uncomfortable when
I changed the dishes (món ăn) when I was ordering. As for the food, I ordered a medium
rare steak, but it was overcooked. I think the best solution is that you must change the chef
and train staff in a severe attitude.
I hope you will consider my case and give me a reasonable answer as soon as possible.
Best regards,
Anna

Dear Helen,
- How’s it going? How has the family been? Hope all good things come to you and

- She is passionate (đam mê) about comics (truyện tranh) and pop music.
- Sometimes I also see her running in the park. She says the activity helps her relax
and focus on work.
- Besides, I want to talk about Hoa's personality. She is a sociable (hòa đồng) person
and very friendly.
- She often participates (tham gia) in local community (cộng đồng) activities to help
the poor around her area.
- She is currently a 3rd year (năm thứ 3) student in Vietnam and intends (những dự

- Honestly (thành thật mà nói), I want to sign up for a Chinese course. Recently, many of
our customers have come from China, especially after the covid epidemic (dich benh).
- Sadly, (that k may) no one in the sales department knows Chinese to communicate with
them.
- Therefore, every time we have a Chinese client, we must hire an interpreter from a
translation company, which is a huge waste of money.
- In addition, if we have a staff who is good at Chinese, we can expand our market in
China soon.
- I will study on Saturday and Sunday, which does not affect our work.
- However, the tuition (học phí) fee is quite high while I don't have enough money. Is it
possible that you can pay the fee for me? I would be very grateful.
I’m looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
Nguyen Quoc Anh
