I am excited to apply for the position of Medical Officer at Ampath MTRH. I currently work
at the Kakamega County General Teaching and Referral Hospital in the obstetrics and
gynaecology department as well as the accident and emergency unit. With over 4 years’
experience in both the public and private healthcare practice, I have nurtured a well-rounded
skill set and excellence at interpersonal and communication abilities, evidence based
medical practice, surgical skills and life support in emergency settings.
I graduated with a Bachelor of medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree as well as
successfully completed special skills courses including basic life support, advanced cardiac
life support and advanced trauma life support among others.
I am the current chairman of the Christian Medical Fellowship (CMF) Kenya – Kakamega
chapter, where we mentor medical students and young doctors to be excellent professionals,
aiming to make a difference in healthcare. I also volunteered in medical camps and health
facilities during my student holidays.
I am inspired by the idea of working with your team to develop long term and sustainable
responses to assist affected communities live a healthy meaningful life. I would be honored
