Low Pressure
The spool valve in the pump on the G4A-EL / 4EAT has been updated. (Figure 1) The purpose of the update
was to create a seat for the spring. The old valve had no seat and sometimes the spring would snag in it's bore
causing low line pressure. The Ford part # is F02Z-7Z306-A. The Ford valve will work in the Mazda as well.
