Capacity: Cooling Intensity: 226.2kW & Heating intensity=182kW
Purpose: Cooling the water and provide hot water circulated in the HVAC system.

2. Design Considerations
 Control System: SMART System
Purpose: Optimize the usage of HVAC by occupancy, air quality, and outdoor temperature readings from
built-in sensors.

 Energy Efficiency
Equipment: High-Efficiency AHU and FCUs
Insulation: Meeting UK Energy Efficiency Standards
Purpose: Minimizing energy consumption and environmental impact

3. Compliance and Safety

 Regulatory Compliance: Adhering to The Building Regulations 2010 Approved document F-
Ventilation, CIBSE Guideline and BSRIA’s Illustrated Guides.
 Safety Measures: Emergency shutdown procedures, Fire Damper
 Purpose: Ensuring compliance with local regulation and ensuring occupant safety.

4. Conclusion
This schematics report outlines the proposed HVAC installation work, emphasizing a comprehensive and
efficient design for the office building in the UK. The system is tailored to meet comfort requirements,
energy efficiency standards, and regulatory compliance.

Drawing number 3: Fire Detection Schematics

Schematic Report 5
1. Introduction
This report provides an assessment of the fire detection systems installed at the Level 5 Office Building in London.
The evaluation covers system components, coverage, functionality, and compliance with the UK fire safety
regulations.

2. System Components
 Smoke Detectors: Located in all offices, hallways, and common areas.
 Heat Detectors: Installed in kitchen areas and server rooms.
 Manual Call Points: Positioned near exits and stairwells on all floors.
 Alarm Sounders: Distributed evenly to ensure audibility throughout the building.
 Central Control Panel: Situated in the security room for easy access and monitoring.

3. System Coverage
The system provides complete coverage of the building with no blind spots. Special attention has been given to
high-risk areas with additional detectors.

4. System Functionality
All components of the fire detection system were tested and found to be fully operational. The manual call points
and alarm sounders responded effectively during drills.

5. Compliance with Regulations

The fire detection system meets all the requirements set out by the UK fire safety regulations. Proper documentation
of maintenance and testing logs is up-to-date.

6. Observations and Recommendations

While the current system is adequate, it is recommended to consider upgrading to smart detectors that can
differentiate between smoke types. Regular fire drills should continue to ensure staff are familiar with evacuation
procedures.

7. Conclusion
The fire detection system in the Level 5 Office Building in London is wellmaintained, comprehensive, and
compliant with the UK fire safety standards. The building management has shown a commitment to safety by
ensuring regular testing and maintenance of the system

Water & Drainage Schematics Report
Location: Office Building, London, UK
Date: 11/01/2024
Assessment Conducted by: Ismal Mohammad

Drawing Number 5: Water & Drainage Schematics

Schematic Report 7
1. Introduction
An evaluation of the water and drainage systems installed at the London Level 5 Office Building is given in this
report. The system's coverage, functionality, and compliance with UK water and drainage regulations are all
covered in the evaluation.

2. System components
 Water Main Connection: A water main is typically used to connect a building to the city's water supply
system.
 Drainage pipes: These pipes gather and transport wastewater to the sewer system from different locations
throughout the building.
 Toilets: Designed to dispose of human waste by connecting to the drainage system.
 Hot water is supplied by a water heater for use in cleaning and bathing, among other things.
 Rainwater is collected from the roof and directed away from the building by gutters and downspouts.
 System coverage

3. System Coverage
With no blind spots, the system offers total building coverage. High-risk areas have received extra attention and
have more detectors.

4. System functionality
After testing, it was discovered that every part of the fire detection system was functioning properly.
Have routine check ups at the water and drain systems in order to have the maximum amount of functionality.

5. Compliance with regulation

The water and drainage system meets all the requirements set out by the UK water and drainage regulations.

6. Proper documentation of maintenance and testing logs is up-to-date.

Observation and recommendations
water conservation: The UK, like many other places in the world, has problems with a shortage of water and rising
demand. It is imperative to promote water conservation practices on both an individual and an industrial level.

7. Conclusion
The Level 5 Office Building in London has a comprehensive, well-maintained water and drainage system that
complies with UK regulations.
By guaranteeing routine system testing and maintenance, the building management has demonstrated their
dedication to safety.
