PERSONAL STATEMENT

As a person who has opportunity to work as a marketing and program coordinator for
eight years, I am convinced that pursuing a master's degree in marketing at the
prestigious University of Strathclyde will enhance my knowledge, skills and abilities.
My work path has diverged from what I had planned despite the fact that I hold a degree
in engineering. But thanks to my engineering education, I have a solid analytical
foundation that enables me to approach marketing challenges with a data-driven mindset.
Furthermore, my valuable experiences has given me an understanding of the marketing
structure, including consumer behaviour, market segmentation, and product positioning.

Throughout my experiences, I have been responsible for coordinating marketing

campaigns, executing programs, managing budgets and analysing data to make educated
decisions. Furthermore, I used to participate in the association of small to medium-sized
businesses and contributed in helping the members receive entrepreneurial guidance
concerned about transformed from conventional marketing to digital marketing.

These experiences have shaped me to strengthen my project management and analytical

skills, both of which I believe are essential for success in any marketing job. Furthermore,
my engineering background has equipped me with the ability to approach problems
practically and plan better solutions to complex problems.
My decision to obtain a master's degree in marketing comes from a passion of my
experiences and a drive to stay current on industry trends and advances. I believe that
the program at the University of Strathclyde, the experts, the environment and students
from all over the world with variety of backgrounds and experiences, will offer me the
knowledge, skills and abilities that I need to flourish in this competitive sector.

I am excited to be a part of the University community and ready to learn and grow
together. I believe that my combination of abilities, experience, and academic background
will enable me to contribute a new perspective to the classroom while also offering a
valuable asset to the University.
