SECTION 1. What is Freelancing?

Freelancing is no rocket science. It's a simple

concept. The concept is that you have a skill or

know how to perform a specific task, you go to a
platform where you tell people that you have this
skill. People around the globe will come to you to
ask you to perform that task for them. When you
do their work, they pay you for it. That's it. There
are no complexities or specific terms you need to
know about Freelancing. This short concept is all
you need to know about Freelancing. Just
remember 2 things I mentioned here i) Skill ii)
Platform. I will explain these further in upcoming
sections.
 SECTION 2. Things Required to Start
Freelancing

There are 4 things you need to start Freelancing. I

will explain one by one in detail. Any person who
fulfills these requirements can easily start
Freelancing. On the other hand if you miss any of
these, it's almost impossible to do Freelancing. At
least in 2024 it's impossible to start Freelancing
without these. No matter how much time you
spend, how many courses you do, you will fail
without these. Let's explain all four 1 by 1.

You need a skill to start Freelancing. You should

know how to perform a specific task or work. That

skill can be anything, it can be writing, speaking,
3D animation, Video editing, Programming, Web
development and so on. Without a skill, you can
never start Freelancing. You might find a lot of
videos on YouTube that tell you how to do
Freelancing without skill....Don't even think that
someone will pay you for doing nothing without
any skill. Remember No Skill No Freelancing

Some of you might be worried after hearing this.

You may think that you don't have a skill, how can
you start Freelancing? The answer is you will
learn a skill and then start Freelancing. There are
thousands of options and skills you can learn to
start Freelancing. I will explain these skills and
options in upcoming sections. At this point, you
just need to keep in mind that You cannot start
Freelancing without any skill.

ii) Platforms

The second thing you require after learning a skill

is a platform. A platform is a place where you will

Fiverr, Upwork, Guru, Truelancer, Freelancer etc.

After learning a skill, you need to learn about

these Platforms. Many people make mistakes at

this step and there are few misconceptions.

One misconception is that there is a great

competition on Fiverr & Upwork and you don't get
any work. Yes there is a lot of competition and
there is no work on Fiverr and Upwork. But it is
true for those who don't learn about these
platforms. People who learn about these
platforms, there is no competition for them and
they are getting work. So you need to learn about
Platforms before you start working.
The second is a mistake most beginners do. They
start learning about Fiverr or Upwork before
learning any skill. They think we should make a
profile first and then we will continue learning
about skill and will get work along with it. Don't
ever try this if you want to be successful in
Freelancing. First learn a Skill and then learn
about Platforms and then make a profile. That's
the right approach you need to go with.

iii) Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

SEO is a necessary evil to start Freelancing in 2024.

If you know SEO, you can make progress in days.

There was a time when people used to say, it might
take months or years to get your first. It's not the
case in 2024. If you know SEO, you get your first
order in days or even hours.

What is SEO? SEO is optimization of your content

so you can stand out among others. Let's take an
example. When you search for something on
Google e.g Top 10 Cities in the world or How to
open a box etc.....There are a lot of results. There
are so many websites and articles they show you.
Some articles will show on top and some articles
will show on the bottom of the page. When you
scroll down to the bottom, you see next pages too
like 2,3,4,5...Most of the people who search for
something on Google will read the article which
shows on the first page and which appears on top.
Nobody reads what's on the bottom or what's on
the next page. SEO is making your article come on
the first page and on top so people can read your
article. SEO is using specific keywords to make
your content or profile come on top.

iv) Time & Patience

There is no shortcut in Freelancing to earn online.

You have to invest your time and be patient. There
are no 15 days or 30 days schemes here. I
explained 3 things above to start Freelancing and
these all will take time. Without these three, no
matter how hard you try or do something, you will
never be able to start a Freelance career. Invest
your time, Learn a Skill, Learn about a Platform,
Learn SEO and be patient for results.

Most of the beginners get impressed by people

who are in the field for years. They only see how
much they are earning, they don't see how much
time & effort they put in this to reach this level.
They think they will start earning the same way in

a short time without investment of time & patience

SECTION 3. Phases of Freelancing

If you want to start Freelancing, you should start

your journey divided into 2 Phases. Start with the
sequence mentioned below. This method and
sequence has a 99% success rate.

i) Phase 1 of Learning
First of all choose a skill which you want to learn.
Skills which are in demand in 2024 are mentioned
below. Choose minimum 3 Courses on that skill.
Take these three courses. You can take courses
from YouTube or get paid Courses. I have access to
most of the premium courses available on the
Internet. These courses are worth thousands of
dollars and you can ask me about that specific
course, if I have access to that premium course I
will share that with you for Free.

After learning & practicing that skill, go to

Lastly take any basic level course about Fiverr,

Upwork & LinkedIn from YouTube or I have some

ii) Phase 2 of Applying

After completing all the steps above, go to the

platforms and build your profile. Some people
make the mistake of building a profile first and
then start learning. I would not recommend you to
do this.

SECTION 4. Options and Skilss

There are thousands of Options & Skills that you

can learn and start Freelancing with. I have
divided these options into 2 categories. One for
Medical Students & one for Non Medical Students.

i) For Medical Students

Below are options for the medical students. These

options are selected keeping in mind the tough
schedule and studies of Medical Students. If you
are a medical student, you can choose any of these
and start Freelancing.

A. Content Writing: It's the easiest option for

Medical Students. They can easily manage their
studies and schedule doing this. An average
content writer makes 400-500$ per month if he has
applied all the things mentioned above. You can
find many courses on YouTube & some premium
courses from where you can learn these.

B. Copywriting: Copywriting is writing that is

done to drive action. It is hard to learn but it is the

highest paying writing career one can ever get.

People are making $1000-3000 per month in this

field. Keep in mind the success ratio is very less in

Courses are not available on YouTube but I have 2-

3 Premium Courses that you can avail if you are
interested in this field.

C. Academic Writing: It is making assignments for

students. It is very easy to learn and you can start
earning money within the shortest time period.
There are some ethical and religious concerns
about this. We consulted Ulma for this and it is
allowed according to some sects and prohibited
from some sects. We reached out Dar-ul-Taqwa for
the final ruling over this, A panel of Ulma is doing
their research, as soon as they give a ruling, I will
share this with you. You can learn this from
YouTube or there is a course from MediLancers
that you can get.

D. Fields related to IT: This might sound strange

but there are a lot of IT fields that Medical
Students can opt for and they are very easy to
learn and manage. These are highly paying and in-
demand skills. Below are these options along with

them. These courses have professional degrees too,
would recommend professional degrees in this, if
you cant go for that, courses will be enough too.

SECTION 5. Misconceptions & Mistakes

There are a lot of misconceptions about
Freelancing on top of which is "There is a lot of
competition and people don't get work". It's not
True. People do get work and there is no
competition for people who follow the above steps.
The digital world is expanding, there are a lot of
people coming everyday. 90% of them come
without completing the above steps and they fail,
then they misguide people that there is a lot of
competition and no work. Those who Complete
their learning along with practice n skills needed,
there is no competition for them.

and just watch videos and tutorials. Always take a

The 3rd is "Haste makes waste". Give your time.

Learn skills, SEO and Platforms and then start. Be
patient in all this process. There is no shortcut and
there is only failure for them who want to start
earning money in days.

Some students think, there is no scope of medicine
in future and they should opt Freelancing. Let me
clear one thing, I have been in contact with people
& clients across the globe and from every
profession.... Medicine is the most Prestigious
Profession and no profession in this world can
ever match the level of Medicine. In terms of
Respect, money, lifestyle, Medicine is above all.
Never ever think that you should or you will Quit
this career. Be thankful for this

Most of the people ask if we need a laptop for

Freelancing or we can use our mobile too. From
above mentioned all options, you can use mobile
for Academic Writing and Copywriting but that too
will be difficult. It's better to buy a small laptop.
You can buy a laptop bw 16k-20k which can be
used for Freelancing very easily. I guess no one is
using a mobile for less than 30k these days and a
working laptop is way cheaper than a mobile
phone these days. Do invest 16000-20000 and you
can get a working laptop.

SECTION 8. Special Tips

Here are a few tips that I practiced and learned in

the last 3 Years. The only thing that is killing your

Reels on FB n Insta, Using Snapchat, being active

depression and zero productivity in life. The day I

quit Social media was the day my productivity

started. I have seen hundreds of students using

social media all day for 8-10 hours and then
complaining about depression and no productivity
in life. Social media addiction is worse than drugs.
If you want to be successful in Freelancing, you
have to either quit Social media or use it for less
time.

2nd is don't invest any money or buy any courses. I

bought many courses and wasted almost 2 Lakh in
different courses. Now I have access to almost all
premium courses. Before buying any course or
before investing in any course, do tell me if you
are going to spend any money. I might have that

Free. There are a lot of channels on Whatsapp
which offer these premium courses for Free too.

SECTION 9. Conclusion

Freelancing again is not rocket science. All you

need to do is to learn a skill, know about SEO,
