    WW2-Chinese Dialogue Task

    A. Do grocery shopping in Chinese. Read and practice the conversation with your partner.
    Present this dialogue in class.

    Student 1: 你好，你在找什么？nǐ hǎ o, nǐ zài zhǎ o shén me? English Translation:


    Hello, what are you looking for?
    Student 2: 我想买点水果 wǒ xiǎ ng mǎ i diǎ n shuǐ guǒ I’d like to buy some fruit.
    What fruit? We have bananas, apples, strawberries,
    Student 1: 什么水果？我们有香蕉，苹果，草莓，什么的 and so on.
    shén me shuǐ guǒ ? wǒ men yǒ u xiāng jiāo, píng guǒ , cǎ o méi, shén Ok, I’ll buy a jin.
    Ok, all together 12 kuai.
    me de Ok, Thanks.
    Student 2: 好的，我买一斤香蕉。 hǎ o de, wǒ mǎ i yī jīn xiāng
    jiāo.
    Student 1: 好的,一共十二块 hǎ o de, yī gòng shí èr kuài
    Student 2: 好谢谢 hǎ o, xiè xiè

    Student 1 : 今天 Manila 的天气怎么样? English Translation:


    Jīntiān Manila de tiānqì zěnme yàng? How’s the weather in Manila today?
    Student 2: 今天天气很好。Jīntiān tiānqì hěn hǎ o.
    Today’s weather is good.
    Student 1: 是的。今天天气不错.
    Hǎ o de. Jīntiān Zhōngguó de tiānqì yě bùcuò. Good. The weather in China is not bad also.

    Student 2: 多少度？duōshǎ o dù? What is the temperature degree?

    Student 1: 今天 20 度左右。Jīntiān 20 dù zuǒ yòu. Today is around 20 degree.

    Student 2: 太好了。Tài hǎo le That’s good.
