INNOVATION TO ENHANCE CURRICULUM IMPLEMENTATION

Project Title: BooKIOSK


Project Time-frame: This project will take place from September 2022 onwards.

I. PROJECT SUMMARY
Project BooKIOSK is basically a kiosk where students can access
reading materials that will broaden their exposure to various references
and books, which is an important benchmark to improve comprehension
and, in the latter, develop the analytical and critical thinking skills that
they most need as independent learners, particularly in the modular
scheme or modality.

II. PROJECT BACKGROUND


The primary goal of this project is to increase students' access to
reading materials, which will have a positive knock-on effect on their
academic performance, learning environment, enrolment rate, and drop-out
and failure rates over the long term.
This demonstrates alignment with the DepEd's mission, vision, and
goals in a way that it embodies the phrase, "Para sa Bata;Para sa Bayan,"
or serving the learners' best interests. From a broader perspective, this will
be very advantageous for the students (improve their comprehension of
reading), school (guarantee the caliber of students' learning experience),
and stakeholders (obtain and raise well-educated children and citizens).

III. PROJECT OBJECTIVES


The activity aims to carry out the following purposes:

1. to increase students' access to books and other reading materials and


educational resources
2. to provide a comfortable reading space where books and other materials
can be safely housed and readers can indulge in the luxury of reading
