Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at 4:30 PM by the STEM Adviser.

Approval of Previous Minutes

During the STEM Advisers meeting on January 26, the minutes from the
January 23-24 meeting were approved. SAYTALA was chosen as the official
name for STEM Day, and the endorsed activities include Costume Parade &
Cheer and Yell Competition, STEMazing Race, Quiz Bee, Damath, Sudoku,
Water Rocket, STEMtokperiment, SAYTALA Booths, and Mr. and Ms. STEM.

Old Business

The meeting revisited the discussion from the previous session where the STEM
Advisers evaluated potential names for STEM Day. Following careful
consideration, Siyentipikong Alagad ng Yaman at Lakas ng Agham (SAYTALA)
emerged as the chosen name.

New Business

a. Booth Arrangements and Activities


 In the STEM Booths, a combination of food and games will be
featured to enhance engagement and enjoyment for attendees.
 Gazebo setups required for the booths will be provided by the
respective groups, ensuring an organized and visually appealing
display.
 To promote diversity and excitement, groupings for the booths will be
randomized by teachers.
 Teams will be color-coded (red, yellow, blue, green) for easy
identification and coordination during STEM Day.
b. Participation of STE Students
 Junior High Science Technology Engineering (STE) students will
participate in STEM Day, with selected students taking part in events
based on their interests.
 STE students will have the opportunity to join the Costume Parade,
Quiz Bee, and decide on their involvement in the booths.
c. Entertainment and Event Organization
 The officers proposed reintroducing an aerobic dance as an
intermission number during Mr. and Ms. STEM, adding a dynamic
element to the event.
 Mr. Lapiad is assigned to handle the setup of the Gymnasium,
ensuring a well-organized venue for the activities.
 Mr. Sorsano is responsible for the restoration.
 Masters of Ceremony for Mr. and Ms. STEM will be Mr. Poblador and
Ms. Saban.
 Ms. Uluan, the club's president, will deliver the opening remarks,
setting the tone for the event.
 Ms. Lauriaga will lead the opening prayer, stepping in for Ms. Baldeo
due to conflicting schedules. While Mr. Torreteo is assigned for the
closing prayer.
 Mrs. Valencia, the school's principal, will provide closing remarks.

Announcements

The STEM Adviser noted to create a grading system for the points distribution
for the activities.
