1. ACTIVITY

Task 1. “Build me”

Direction: You will be group into five, each group have different parts of plants. I will read the
definition first and you will identify what kind of plants it and paste the illustration on the board.

- The group who can answer this activity correctly will claim 50 points each.

3. Supports the plant and carries water and minerals through the plant.
4. Make seeds from the plant.

3. ABSTRACTION
Now lets define what is plant.
Plant is a living things that grow in the ground, usually has leaves and flowers, and need sun
and water to survive.
ROOTS get water and minerals from the soil. Anchors the plant in the ground.
STEMS help support the plant and keep it up right.
LEAVES a flattened structure of a plant, typically green and blade like. Main organs of
photosynthesis and transpiration.
FLOWER are responsible for reproduction by producing fruit and seeds.
FRUITS protect the seeds. It is fleshy or dry ripened ovary of a flowering plant, enclosing the
seeds.

4. ASSESSMENT/ EVALUATION
Direction: identify what parts of plant it is.
