Visit any business organization - a manufacturing unit or service based organization,

in a group (4 students maximum per group). Prepare a detailed account of operation
management activities it indulges in and submit a hard copy (1 hard copy per
group) of the term paper latest by 04th March 2024. Term paper may include the
following discussion areas:

1. Business Location
2. Facility Layout
3. Manufacturing / Service Technology
4. Detailed Business Process
5. Inventory Management
6. Quality Management techniques
7. ISO certifications or any other certifications
8. Environmental Protection & Sustainable practices
9. Total Productive Maintenance
10. Lean Production System
11. MRP I, MRP II, ERP

Also be ready for the presentation of the same (PPT). One presentation per group
(all students should present per group). Dates for the presentations will be provided
later.
