WHY DO YOU WANT A TEACHER?

The teachers serve as the light in a dark pathway of the innocent children. They are the
source of knowledge and a source of inspiration to everyone. It is the most rewarding jobs out
there. It can have a major impact on the lives of the students.

Since I was a child I really admire the persons who teach and even inspires children to
continue facing life’s struggles and to be that persons you wanted to be. I do idolize the persons
who teach and has a perseverance to lend their time teaching students. In short, I really admire
the teachers. That is why I pursue my studies despite the truth that I am not good enough to be in
this programmed. I came up to the sense that when you are a teacher, you shape the next
generation. It gives me an opportunity and privilege as well of making an impact on the society
by shaping the next generation through providing them the tools and knowledge to form their
own opinions, make a contribution, and influence society in the future. I want to be an
inspiration to the children and in that way, I can shape the next generation to another. I want to
teach, teach, teach! Until they learned something from me, until they know the essence of being
a students. I also want to build harmony to the student that is why I choose to be a teacher
because for me, a teaching career is not just being an educator. You also become a friend and
confidante that can play a significant role in a child’s emotional development. Also, one of the
reason why I wanted to be a teacher is that I want to feel connected to everyone. When you
become a teacher, you will be with a large group of children or young adults every day with
constant interaction and engagement, so, you enjoy, laugh and at the same time spending you
precious time makes you feel that you are belong to that society, you are connected and I want
that. Also, I want to learn a well as teach. When you become a teacher you do not only get to
learn about interesting subjects while you teach, but you also gain plenty of other invaluable
skills including classroom discipline, public speaking, presentation skills, management, and
leaderships skills. You teach students, you also teach them how to be tough in every situation.
These are the main reasons why I wanted to be a teacher in the nearest future. And I will work
hard, and study hard for me to be in the position I wanted to be.

Therefore, being a teacher is all that matters to me. I want to encourage students, I want
to be an inspiration to anyone and I want to be a source of knowledge to my future students, and
I can only do this when I become a teacher. A teacher that inspires, a teacher that lend his time
for his students to learn different aspects, a teacher that sees his student as a vital person in the
society. I do believe that the students are the hope of our nation, and I want them to put it in their
mind always. And by that time, they will remember me as their main reason why they pursue
their studies.
