Eco bricks, also known as plastic bottle bricks or bottle bricks, have gained popularity as a

sustainable alternative for building materials. Here are some related literature on eco bricks:
1. "Sustainable Building Materials: The Case of Eco Bricks" by S.V. Singh and M.K. Saxena.
This paper discusses the potential of eco bricks as a sustainable building material and
explores its properties, advantages, and limitations.
2. "Assessing the Performance of Eco Bricks in Construction Applications" by P.
Nwachukwu and P. Emenike. This study evaluates the compressive strength and water
absorption capacity of eco bricks and compares them to traditional building materials.
3. "Design and Construction of a House using Eco Bricks" by A. Padilla-Sánchez, J. R.
Quintero-Calle, and C. A. Salazar-Quintero. This paper presents a case study on the
design and construction of a house using eco bricks as the primary building material.
4. "Potential of Eco Bricks in Mitigating Plastic Pollution and Enhancing Sustainable
Development" by M. Ali, M. U. Khan, and M. T. Javed. This study explores the potential
of eco bricks in mitigating plastic pollution and promoting sustainable development.
5. "Investigation of Thermal Performance of Eco Bricks as Building Materials" by M. A.
Rahman, M. M. Hossain, and S. S. Ahsan. This study investigates the thermal
performance of eco bricks and their potential as insulation materials.
These studies demonstrate the potential of eco bricks as a sustainable alternative for building
materials and highlight the need for further research and development in this field.

-The Covid-19 pandemic has led to changes in people's lifestyles and an increase in waste volume. To address
this issue, a study was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method with demonstration techniques. The
study taught residents how to make Ecobricks, which effectively reduced the amount of plastic waste and
empowered the community to cope with increasing inorganic waste. Ecobricks also increased community
creativity and productivity by transforming inorganic waste into goods with economic value. The results showed
that the implementation of the Ecobrick program reduced the amount of plastic waste previously thrown into
rivers. The program reflected community innovation and creativity in utilizing unused items at home, making
Bunder village a zero-waste area and creating goods that are economically and valuable for all members of
society.
