 Method: Blow the balloons and tie string to it. Hang them 10 – 12
cm apart on a rim. Blow air in between the balloons.

 Observation: The balloons will move closer.

 Inference: The air pressure between the balloons is reduced due to more speed. Air
moves from higher pressure to lower pressure bringing the balloons closer.

Interactive Session Show children empty tall and short glasses
Ask Questions:
a. Which glass is taller and which one is shorter?
b. Which glass will hold more water? Why?
Fill the measuring cup with water and pour it in the short glass. Pour
water from the short glass into the tall glass.
a. Are we able fill all the water from the short glass into the tall glass?
b. Why do you think we still have water remaining?
Take the two jars. Measure the cup, pour equal amounts of water in both
the jars, and encourage children to observe whether the same amount of
water goes into each jar or not.
Give sheets of paper to children and ask them to draw the two glasses–the
short and the tall one. They colour the glass that has more water with blue
colour and the glass that has less water with red colour.
