Hello, let me introduce myself, my name is Diyarn Putra Maulana.

I come from West Sumatra and

now I have migrated to Pontianak to study. I have 4 siblings, 1 girl and 3 boys. My family is now in
Padang. My parents work as casual daily laborers and now I live in Pontianak. With my aunt at her
house and here also many families are now studying at Tanjungpura University, studying Geophysics.
I continued my studies at Tanjungpura University because I wanted to continue my education so that
I could change the fate of my family and I wanted to become a scholar to make people like us proud
of studying English because English is important for our future because in the current era people use
English a lot and that we can also increase our knowledge by being able to speak English, we can
easily talk to western people and English can make it easier to find work because many offices
require you to be able to speak English. I don’t have academic advantages, I only won in elementary
school and middle school. Mainly, my weakness in academics is that sometimes I am too confident
about my grades, I also often get bored in class, sometimes I’m sleepy and I also lack self-confidence.
How to overcome my weaknesses is by studying seriously, staying up late less, and increasing my
devotion and effort so that I can be confident. With what I do. My biggest achievement is being able
to top my class and being able to enter my dream campus and also being able to go to college
because not everyone can go to college, I want to achieve cum laude when I graduate and want to be
an outstanding student, that’s my hope for the future.
