Material Requisition for Pressure and Vacuum Relief Valves

Dear Sirs,

With reference to your above mentioned quotation, please clarify and revise your quotation taking
into account the following items:
PLEASE REPLY ITEM BY ITEM.

1.0 Please revise / correct your quotation according to the following notes:

a) Please correct the tag numbers in your quotation, such as;

1) 18-PSV-993A and
2) 18-PSV-993B
b) For 18-PSV-993A,
Set Pressure =0.003 kg/cm2g (for pressure relief)
c) For 18-PSV-993B,
Set Pressure =0.004 kg/cm2g (for pressure relief)
d) Please provide calculation sheets for your pressure & vacuum relief valves. Please
refer to our MR no: ED0581B-1639E_01, para 2.2.Sizing calculations shall be in
according to API Standard 2000.

2.0 Please confirm that your quotation covers the followings:

a) Please confirm that body material shall be ASTM A216 GR.WCB.

b) Please confirm that trim material shall be stainless steel min.
c) The bolt and nut material shall be ASTM A193 GR.B7 / ASTM A194 GR.2H.
d) All calibration screw must be protected by a cap and provided with sealing to prevent
tamperings,
e) All flanged valves shall be supplied with full capacity nozzle.
f) Valves with flanged connections must have the flanges integral with the body.
g) PMI is requested for pressure containing parts of the valves according to ED0581A-
98A2/1 PMI JOB SPEC.
h) Painting shall be done regarding ED0581A-83A1-IST, TUPRAS General Spec TGPS-
N1.
i) A corrosion resistant stainless steel tag plate fixed with screws or rivets, stamped as
per ED0581B-1639E_01 Section 3.4 shall be provided.
j) Vendor shall provide inspection and tests in according to MR, para. 4.
k) The valves shall be compliant to meet the safety requirements of the PED (European
Directive 97/23/CE). Related certifications shall also be provided according to
ED0581B-1639E_01 Section 7.0.
l) Seat tightness will be as per API Std. 527.
m) Please confirm that the certifications will be provided according to ED0581B-
1639E_01 Section 4.

n) The documentation will be provided according to ED0581B-1639E_01 para. 5.0 of

M.R. The number of copies shall be in accordance to following table. Please confirm.
