Lovely Little Wang
Little Wang recently found a new job.
Her department was the Administration Department, responsible for arranging meetings, preparing materials, receiving guests, and so on.
One day, a client came to Little Wang’s company. This client was a frequent visitor at the company and was very picky.
Every time she came by, if she wasn’t complaining that the tea wasn’t hot, she was complaining that the table was not clean.
She always managed to find something wrong.
The person who received this client was always scolded, so none of Little Wang’s colleagues were willing to receive her.
But because she was one of the company’s big clients, ..
.. the manager of the Administration Department could only turn a blind eye.
Then after that client left, the manager would say a few nice-sounding words to comfort the person who was scolded.
Little Wang was new and unaware of the situation. Her colleagues asked her to receive this client.
Little Wang walked up to the client and said with a smile, “Hello, madam. What would you like to drink?”
The client heard what Little Wang said and started complaining:
“What’s wrong with your company? I’ve been here so many times, and you still don’t know what I like. It’s unprofessional.”
Little Wang wasn’t angry at this and continued to speak patiently, ..
.. “Sorry, madam. I am new here. Could you please tell me again? I will make sure to remember.”
The client took a look at Little Wang and said, ..
.. “Young lady, remember this. I like to drink coffee, with milk and no sugar.
And the temperature of the coffee should be just right. Neither too hot nor too cold.”
Little Wang said, “Okay, I’ll remember!”
The client looked at young Little Wang and said, ..
.. “Aren’t you afraid of me? People in your company think I’m troublesome and don’t want to receive me.”
Little Wang said, “I’m not afraid. This is my job. If you have a problem, then that must mean I did not do a good job.”
This made the client laugh out loud and say, ..
.. “Young lady, you have a good work attitude. I have faith in you, and I believe you will be promoted soon.”
Little Wang also smiled and said, “Thank you for your kind words.”
Watching Little Wang and the client chatting happily at a distance, her colleagues were all puzzled.
They didn’t understand how Little Wang managed to win over the client.
A few days later, this client came again. But this time, it was in the capacity of the new boss of the company.
When she had a meeting for everyone, she said, ..
.. “I’ve been coming here as a client for two months. Every time I came here, I would cause you trouble. I know you all don’t like me.
My purpose for doing that was to find a qualified manager of the Administration Department among you. And now I have found one.”
She pointed at Little Wang and said, “It’s you.”
Little Wang’s mouth opened wide with shock.
The new boss said, “Don’t be shocked. Your work attitude is great.
You were the most patient and enthusiastic of all the employees that received me. Good job!”
And that was how our lovely Little Wang was promoted.
It seems that hardworking and enthusiastic people are not unlucky after all!

可爱的小王

小王最近找到了新工作。她的部门是行政部，负责安排会议、准备资料、接待客人等等。

一天，小王公司里来了一位客户。这位客户是公司的常客，很喜欢挑剔。每次来，不是嫌茶

不热，就是嫌桌子不干净，总是能找出毛病。接待这位客户的人总是被骂，所以小王的同事

们都不愿意接待。但因为她是公司的大客户，行政部经理也只能睁一只眼闭一只眼。等客户

走了以后再跟被骂的员工说几句好话，安慰安慰。

小王是新人，不了解情况。她的同事们就让她去接待。

小王走到客户身边，笑着说：“您好，女士，请问您想喝点什么？”客户听了小王的话，

开始抱怨：“你们公司怎么回事？我都来了这么多次了，还不知道我的喜好，不专业。”小

王听了也不生气，继续耐心地说：“不好意思，女士，我是新来的，麻烦您再跟我说一下，

我一定记好。”客户看了小王一眼，说：“小姑娘，记好了啊，我喜欢喝咖啡，只加牛奶不

加糖。还有咖啡的温度要刚刚好，不能太烫也不能太凉。”小王说：“好的，记住了！”客

户看着年轻的小王说：“你不怕我吗？你们公司的人都觉得我事儿多，不愿意接待我。”小

王说：“不怕，这是我的工作，您有问题那一定是我没做好。”客户听了哈哈一笑，说：“

小姑娘，你的工作态度不错，我看好你，相信不久你就能升职。”小王也笑了，说：“借您

吉言。”远处看着小王和客户聊得开心，同事们都很纳闷，他们不明白小王用了什么方法搞

定了客户。

过了几天，客户又来了，这次客户的身份是公司的新老板。她给大家开会的时候说：“

我用客户的身份来了两个月了，每次来都会制造一些麻烦，我知道你们都不喜欢我。我这么

做的目的是想在你们中间找到一位合格的行政部经理。现在我找到了。”她指着小王说：“

就是你啦。”

小王吃惊地张大了嘴。新老板说：“不用吃惊，你的工作态度非常好，是接待过我的员

工中最有耐心、最热情的，好好干！”
