 Canvas
 Pencils

 Paints (acrylic)
 Paintbrushes
 Water cups
 Palette for mixing colors
 Clear reference image of an animal face showing its eye and the animal print around it (please
choose an animal with an interesting skin pattern e.g zebras, crocodile, tiger, leopard, giraffe,
etc)

You have to create a painting of an animal's eye with the printed skin pattern around it.
Select an animal that you find fascinating and would like to portray. First draw its eye
structure and the unique patterns on its skin or fur. Think about the colors and shapes
that make it distinctive. Choose your colors carefully. Mix paints to capture the colors of
the animal's eye and its surrounding skin pattern. Pay attention to shading, highlights,
texture and create an eye catching composition
Your work will be marked on the basis of your skill/craftsmanship, neatness, creativity, use of
innovative ideas, and effort/attention to detail.
