Operation of Drying Machine

1. Purpose

To secure the safety of the workers operating drying machines, and to lead them up to the standard
procedures of operating.

2. Scope

To specifies (1) the standard procedure in operating drying machine and (2) the instructions on how to
place the dyed yarn into a box before moving the box to the <Semi-Product Storage>.

3. Responsibility and Authority

3.1. Production GM

(1) Control over the operation of drying machine

(2) Check the color of dyed yarn out of drying machine with the color of Dyeing Request.

4. Definition

ID card: It is an Item Card. Item Card is an identification card of yarn/thread, which is to be used to
prevent from mixing up with one another during. (See the following figure – an example)

Production GM shall put the following SOP of Drying machine on the open space of walls.

5.2. Transfer of Dyed Yarn to Semi-product Storage

(1) Place the Dried dyed yarn into a box. (All yarn and thread are to be put upright in any
container)
(2) Attach Swatch Slip on the surface of the box, and place right ID card (Yellow Card) in it.
(3) Send the box to <Semi-product Storage>.
