SAFETY FAMILIARISATION CHECKLIST

Version: 1.0

AB OFFSHORE LIMITED

All crew employed onboard the yacht must receive some familiarisation training prior to departure the port at which they
boarded. In order to meet this requirement, the following checklist must be used.
This training must be conducted regardless of the crewmember’s previous qualifications, certification and experience.
However, if the crew member has worked onboard the yacht within the last three months and under the command of
the same Master, the familiarisation training does not need to be conducted.
The familiarisation can be delivered in three stages:
· STAGE 1 - immediately on the day of joining, and prior to sailing or sleeping ·
STAGE 2 - within 48 hours of joining
· STAGE 3 - within two weeks of joining
The crew member and the person delivering the training must only sign-off each stage when both parties are
satisfied that they have received sufficient training.
