INTRODUCTION TO GRAPHIC DESIGN

Graphic Design is defined as “the art and practice of planning and projecting
ideas and experiences with visual and textual content.” In other terms, graphic
design communicates certain ideas or messages in a visual way. These visuals
can be as simple as a business logo, or as complex as page layouts on a website.

At its core, graphic design involves the thoughtful arrangement of visual

elements, such as images, typography, and color to convey a specific concept or
evoke emotions. Graphic designers leverage their artistic intuition and technical
proficiency to craft compelling visuals for a diverse range of applications,
including branding, marketing materials, websites etc.

Graphic design can be used by companies to promote and sell products through
advertising, by websites to convey complicated information in a digestible way
through infographics, or by businesses to develop an identity through branding,
among other things.
 COMPANY PROFILE:
E Global Soft Solutions (EGSS) is a digital marketing agency that offers
website development and software services. They also provide SEO and
CRM systems. EGSS describes itself as a partner in the success of a
business.
EGSS was founded and is led by Narendra Chaudhary.

WORK PROFILE

I interned as a graphic designer for the organization and I created various

graphic designs for different media platforms and websites for the organization.
Such as, posters, web banners for Instagram, twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn
platform.

Weekly:

Week 1: I connected with my supervisor on daily basis to understand the

organizations profile and what kind of graphics they prefer.

Week 2: I gained enough knowledge and understood their target audience

which helped me creating YouTube thumbnails and posts for Instagram,
Facebook and Linkedin .

Week 3: here I was allotted to create logos and web banners according to their
client requirements.

Week 4: I was asked to create poster for Independence Day and

Rakshabandhan.
LEARNINGS:

1. Polishing creative knowledge – how to create content that attracts the

audience and going on with that same pace.

2. Experience with how an agency works - in terms of gathering

content from the head, understanding the organizations profile, to
generating visual graphics for youth audience. The corporate style of
working is completely different and one learns about it only when one
becomes a part of it.

3. Professional Communication: Worked in a very professional setup and

learned how to communicate in that setting.

4. Time management - one needs to learn how to manage your workload

and complete all the assigned tasks on time. Working with an
organization teaches you the value of time as their whole work or
content is based on you.

5. Communication skills - while interacting with your supervisor I

learned that there are certain phrases that I cannot use, one needs to
always keep a boundary and maintain that mark
CONCLUSION

I would like to heartly show my gratitude to the organization and

my mentor. Their guidance and efforts gave me a platform to
perform so well and learn so much about this area.

I would like to conclude by telling my future goals and what more

things I have planned for myself for future times

● Explore more in the space of graphic designing.

● Polish my skills and work on myself.
● Research more about different areas in graphic designing like
animation, VFXs, photoshop, morphing etc.

Now, my aim is to explore these departments mentioned above and

polish my skill set so that I can achieve my goals in a much better way
in the future.
