Humans have used hand tools for thousands of years. They have become
necessary for humans to bore, to stike, to cut, measure or hold. You will
come across various tools in a workshop environment so you need to
know some and their uses. Hand saws are used in carpentry to
woodworking to cut wood into various shapes, a screwdriver is a manuel
or powered tool used to turn screws. There are different types of
screwdrivers. A hammer consists of a heavy head attached to a long
handle that can be swung to strike a specific area of an object. This might
be done to crush rock, drive nails into wood or shape metal. A drill is a
device used to create circular holes or drive fasterners. It is frequently
used in construction, machine tool fabrication, metalworking and other
project. Also known as a toolkit, tools chest or workbox, a toolbox is a
container used to store, transport and safeguard the owner’s tools. Tools
are impprtant but they can also be dangerous if they are not used
properly.
