into themes, how the data is used and analyzed, coding approach, challenges and life themes.

conversation starters.
● I reflected on my time in other

Theme One: Thriving on Structure
Theme Statement:

Structure has always been very important for me, I always do my best when some kind of structure is present.

Supporting Data:

● Results oriented(DISC) by using a plan I or someone else created.

● From the Motivation and Careers Anchor Assessment my primary career anchor was security, stability and organizational
identity. (MACAA)
● I enjoy having rules and regulations to make me feel more secure in my role (MACAA)
● Having traditional beliefs in leadership (KCIA)
● Being consistent (3Q)

Contradictory Evidence:

● Sometimes it’s easier for me to call the shots even if I know it goes against the standards, but it’s what's right. (EPT)

Reflection:

● Structure impacts both my personal and professional life just about everyday, going with the flow isn’t something I can do. I
have to have a solid plan and it almost always works out in the way I hoped.
Theme Two: Connecting
Theme Statement:

Creating a connection with the people around me, both at work and in my personal life, is something I need. I believe getting to know
someone you’re going to be around is very important.

Supporting Data:

● S result (KCIA) meaning I am social, I am not afraid to put myself out there.
● I feel comfortable meeting and interacting with new people (KSCA)
● Having a good relationship with coworkers makes work more enjoyable for me (SWVIR)
● Wanting to get to know my team so we can have a strong team that can rely on each other (MACAA)
● I love to help the people around me (EPT)

Contradictory Evidence:

I don’t have contradictory evidence for this because I scored highly for social interactions on most of the assessments I took.

Reflection:

Overall, connection is really important and it’s something I’m glad I am able to do so naturally. You don’t need to be friends with your
coworkers, but it is important to know them in some way.
Theme Three: Problem Solving
Theme Statement:

Many things in life have problems that need to be solved. Being a person to help solve those problems is important to me.

Supporting Data:

● E Score (KCIA) E for enterprising, which includes being interested in problem solving.
● I Score (KSCA) I for investigative, being interested in learning what needs to be changed and how to do it.
● Supervision score (SWVIR) as someone who is supervising others, I need to be able to assess the situation and make sure
people are where they need to be to thrive.
● Being an Enneagram Two (BFPT) Twos seek to help the people around them.
● Drive Score (DISC) people with a drive score are results oriented, I am willing to problem solve to get those results.

Contradictory Evidence:

I don’t have contradictory evidence because it’s outside of my personality to not figure something out or to not understand.

Reflection:

There will always be problems to be solved and I hope to be the person who is willing to solve them.
Theme Four: Leading By Example
Theme Statement:

As a future leader, and hopeful future parent, leading by example is very important because you should be practicing what you preach
and if you want something a specific way, be the person who shows that way.

Supporting Data:

● Drive score (DISC) comes with being a natural leader, when you’re a leader you should always lead by example to set a
standard.
● Empathic Idealist (BFPT) uses insight to help others, if people see me do something, they may be inspired to do the same.
● Organizational Identity (MACAA) if everyone is always leading by example when doing the things the company wants, the
organization should stay on top of their standards.
● Supervision (SWVLR) leaders should ensure that others are doing the right thing.
● Conventional (KCIA) if you’re always leading by example it will become the normal or the standard.

Contradictory Evidence:

I don’t have evidence for this.

Reflection:

Leading by example is so important in so many different ways, within an organization and beyond. I wish more people did this.
Theme F ive: Working with a Team
Theme Statement:

Working with a team was something I had to learn to enjoy. It’s nice being able to rely on the help and knowledge of other people to
help you learn. Being able to split up the world load into smaller pieces helps you focus on your piece more, bringing together solid
work from everyone.

Supporting Data:

● Social score (KCIA) I love to interact and working with a team

● Enterprising (KSCA) I will take the lead on my own to split up the work if needed.
● Co-workers (SWVIR) getting to interact and work with your coworkers can be very good for the company.
● Organizational Identity (MACAA) having a solid team will only benefit the organization.
● Drive (DISC) results oriented and working with a team is how you get there in some cases.

Contradictory Evidence:

I don’t have evidence because this is a big part of who I am as a person.

Reflection:

Being able to work with a team is a skill not everyone has, I am lucky to be able to work well with people and teams.
Theme Six: Helping Others Learn
Theme Statement:

Knowing that I am able to help someone who doesn’t understand something is really important to me because I am checking up on
my knowledge along with helping that other person understand something they didn’t before.

Supporting Data:

● Enterprising (KCIA) interacting with others, helping them learn.

● Co-workers (SWVIR) helping others learn is a lot of what I do with my coworkers at my current job.
● Organizational Identity (MACAA) if I am helping others learn what the company wants, it can only lead to positive things.
● Enneagram Two (EPT) Twos seek to help the people around them.
● Empathic Idealist (BFPT) my strong empathy shows that I want to help people.

Contradictory Evidence:

I don’t have evidence because this is a big part of who I am as a person.

Reflection:

I always want to be a helpful hand and to be a person someone can look to.
Theme Seven: F inding the Joy
Theme Statement:

I always want to be happy in the situation that I am in. I know that everything can come in waves and it may not always be enjoyable all
the time, but I hope to find the joy as much as possible.

Supporting Data:

● Enneagram Two (EPT) always seeking to love and help the people around them.
● Empathic (BFPT) being understanding and helpful to others.
● What does the world need me to do? (3Q) continue being the best version of me and always be kind.
● Lifestyle (SWVIR) being able to find joy inside and outside of work.
● Social (KSCA) getting to know others so we can connect and maybe form a friendship.

Contradictory Evidence:

I don’t have evidence for this.

Reflection:

I just want to be happy in this life. I have struggled with mental health for awhile and something that helps me with that is knowing I am
doing all I can to be happy and healthy and enjoying life as much as possible.
Theme Eight: Learning New Things
Theme Statement:

I am a firm believer that there is always something new to be learned, the knowledge of the world is endless. I want to constantly be
learning and growing as a person and as a leader.

Supporting Data:

● Enterprising (KCIA) taking action and always wanting to know new information.
● Investigative (KSCA) seeking out new opportunities to learn.
● Organizational Identity (MACAA) learning as much as I can about a company.
● Enneagram Two (EPT) seeks out things and is willing to help without hesitation.
● Drive (DISC) results oriented, always trying to find those results.

Contradictory Evidence:

I don’t have evidence because this is a big part of who I am as a person.

Reflection:

I am a person who is made up of ways to always be learning and growing. I always want to be the best version of myself and I will
whatever I need to get there and stay there.
Theme Nine: Family Values
Theme Statement:

Being able to put my family first is something really important for me. For my future career I want to work for a place that has those
same values and respects having a good work/life balance.

Supporting Data:

● What brings me joy? (3Q) I can truthfully think of many things that bring me joy like my husband, my friends, my nieces and
nephews but some niche things that bring me joy are taking a good nap, hearing that someone was thinking about me, coloring
and reading. I love when my life is in a slow period so that I can just relax and do the things I truly enjoy.
● Seeing the good in people, always having a kind word to say. (EPT)
● Empathic idealist (BFPT) always helping people, especially my family.
● D score (DISC) natural born leader, I am the one who takes the reins and making plans with family
● Work/Life balance (SWVIR) having this balance would ensure my family comes first.

Contradictory Evidence:

I am glad I don’t evidence for this, I always hope to have these same values going forward.

Reflection:

My current and future family coming first is what’s most important to me, I want to be a good mom, wife and boss lady all at the same
time.
Theme Ten: F inancial Security
Theme Statement:

Growing up I came from a family where the money wasn’t stable. My situation was better than most because I did always have food
to eat and a place to live, but due to money I wasn’t able to do things I hope to provide for my future children.

Supporting Data:

● Traditional beliefs (KCIA) I don’t have traditional beliefs on everything in life, but I do in the sense of I want a simple life,
happy and healthy and stable. Being financially stable would help that.
● Lifestyle score (SWVIR) Lifestyle was my top result and it’s because I see the value in have a specific lifestyle that is stable
and comfortable.
● Security score (MACAA) being secure with money is something that I have been working on for years.
● Drive score (DISC) this would help me in my career so I can continue being financially secure.

Contradictory Evidence:

When asked what brings me joy (3Q) I didn’t mention security because it’s not something I am focusing on all the time.

Reflection:

Wanting to be financially secure stems from my unstable childhood, I try not to worry about it so much since I know I am on the right
track to success.
My Personal Vision Statement:

“I will always do my best to set a positive

example. My actions and values will show how
dedicated I am to leadership within my career
and personal life.”

Reflection:

After looking at my ten themes as whole, it all goes back to being a positive
person and example. I learned a lot about myself and it all has been positive
things and makes me feel really good inside. I am excited for my future and
continuing being able to use the things I've learned about myself from this
assessment.
My Personal Mission Statement:
To always be kind. The world will never have enough kindness and I
hope to be a person to help make that less true. The choices I make
in this life reflect kindness and being a light for others. I find
happiness in being a kind person and treating people the way I want
to be treated.

Reflection:

My mission statement came easy to me because it’s words I’ve

been trying to live by for a while now and doing these assessments
has shown me I have been living my truth. I reflected on my ten
themes and was able to create my personal mission statement.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, this assignment was time consuming but it really got me to think about myself and who I am. I got to reflect on who I
am as a person and as a leader. My values are all around me, and they all work together to create me. I am so thankful.
