3. Starting salary before you passed training is PHP 10k per month. Usually training is 2
weeks to 4 weeks, depending on how fast you learn. If you can’t pass training after 4
weeks, most probably we will let you go. After you passed training, salary is PHP 20k
per month.
We do not observe public holidays of any one country, because we operate in multiple
countries. Whenever you want days off, feel free to let the manager know. Most of the
time, the manager will approve it, if you ask at least a few days in advance.

Tell me about a criticism you received in the past and how you reacted to it.

Ans: Yes, I do agree. Criticism is a way to know your strengths and weaknesses,
with this process, you can grow and able to learn more. As a romance writer, I
take criticism as my stepping-stone in each mile I go, I didn’t take it seriously or
negatively because somehow, I am still in progress and still working to excel in
my field.

6. If hired, how long can you stay in our company?

Ans: As long as the company needed my service, and If I am still able to
collaborate my knowledge, able to sustain my needs and helps to grow myself
and the company…vice-versa.

7. If hired, can you start work immediately? If you can’t, when can you start?
Ans: Yes, I can start immediately.

8. If hired, there will be a 3 day probation. During probation, if we find you unsuitable for
the job, we reserve the right to withdraw the job offer and cancel the contract without
pay. Do you agree?
Ans: Yes.

9. Are you working for any company or any one right now? What kind of work related
commitments do you have?
Ans: Yes, I am a Romance Writer in Stary and Goodnovel, a Singapore-based
online reading company. Also, I am a Co-Editor in Goodnovel since January 2023,
I handle writers and assist them to comply and get a contract to proceed in the
system, or in our app.

10. What would you like to achieve during the coming 3 years?
Ans: I want to achieve three things. First, improving myself as a better person, by
learning new things that can help me find my strength and new interests. Second,
to sustain and provide for my needs and save my income for a better future for
my family since I am not a materialistic person. Third, to get the life I deserve and
to empower other people by giving them pieces of advice, helping them to reach
their dreams, and supporting them as a newbie like where I started.

Ans: I am twenty-nine years old, turning 30 this coming March 21 st.

12. Can you tell us more about yourself?

Ans:
I am Regina Ando-Sapois, twenty-nine years old, married, and presently residing
at Brgy. Apokon, Tagum City, Davao del Norte. A freelance romance writer known
from Wattpad with the penname of Queenregina1994. I started writing when I was
ten years old. I remember writing using our old calendars and scratches. Writing
is my escape when I feel bored, homesick, and alone, and it helped me a lot when
I worked as a DH in Amman, Jordan last 2018 to conquer my loneliness. Since
then, my hobby of writing has become my passion and it has taken me to
different sides of perspectives. I learned a lot from it, meeting new people, new
organizations, new opportunities and it is also the reason why I choose to go
back here in the Philippines and stay for good. Stary Company hired me last 2020
as their writer and on last 2023, Goodnovel hired me as their Co-editor since I
have been one of their writers since 2021. I published my books namely; Breath-
taking Summer, Love, and Bullets, The Daredevil, Loving Mr. Playboy, Helena’s
Possessive Boss, and In-love to My Possessive Boss under F n L Publishing Inc.
I am also linked to PaperInk publishing as one of their collab writers, one of my
works will be published soon in March this year, my book under PaperInk is titled
‘Her Sweet Revenge’. I am a graduate of a two-year course in Information
Technology last 2012 at Magugpo Institute of Technology here in Tagum City.

8. We asked our writer to write a short essay on “The benefits of eating fats”

This is what the writer wrote:

With all the different dietary advice flying around these days, how can you even begin to
know what food choices to make? Take fat for example. For years it has been painted
as an evil monster and the root cause of high cholesterol, heart disease and obesity.
Monounsaturated fats are found in animal flesh such as red meat, whole milk products,
nuts, and high fat fruits such as olives and avocados. Algal oil is about 92%
monounsaturated fat. Olive oil is about 75% monounsaturated fat. The high oleic variety
sunflower oil contains at least 70% monounsaturated fat.

The Mediterranean diet is one heavily influenced by monounsaturated fats. In the late
20th century, people in Mediterranean countries consumed more total fat than Northern
European countries, but most of the fat was in the form of monounsaturated fatty acids
from olive oil and omega-3 fatty acids from fish, vegetables, and certain meats like
lamb, while consumption of saturated fat was minimal in comparison.

All foods containing fat have a mix of specific types of fats. Even healthy foods like
chicken and nuts have small amounts of saturated fat, though much less than the
amounts found in beef, cheese, and ice cream. Saturated fat is mainly found in animal

Answer: 2. For me, reading the title alone makes me wonder the ‘benefit’ word, then
when I read the content, the details are shown different perspectives, it is more on
where does the fat came from, and not in the main highlight which is the word ‘benefits’,
maybe if the title will be changed, I agree to give at least 4 rating. The writer must give
an appropriate title in connection with the details. And I observed that the details have
constructive errors like using the word ‘flying’ instead of ‘spreading’, ‘high fat’ word must
be ‘high-fat’, corrections for commas, and right punctuation also.

What are the strengths of this writer? What are the weaknesses?

Answer:
The writer has strong driven details and it can give the reader interest to read it. The
weakness of the writer is the formality of the usage word and some minor errors and
appropriate title.
