    Starch can be detected using iodine test which have yellow brownish colour if the substance have
    starch the positive result will be blue black we have test this experiment on bread sugar avocado
    and potato

    Result
    Potato : after some minutes the potato ,s colour has changed to blue black

    Bread: change colour to blue black

    Ingera:changed colour to blue black

    Avocado: no change

    Sugar: no change

    We use benedict solution to check reducing sugur.If there is reducing sugar it change from blue to
