AFFIDAVIT OF EXPLANATION

I, AMBROSIO C. JABINAL of legal age, married, Filipino and a resident of Brgy. Kasipagan,
Jiabong Samar, after being duly sworn to in accordance with the law, do here depose and
state:

1. That I am a member of the Philippine National Police and presently assigned at 2 nd

Samar Provincial Mobile Force Company (2nd SPMFC) in Brgy. Pabanog, Samar.

2. That from February 28 to March 01, 2023 I was the assigned as duty PNCOD;

3. That I received a Memorandum from our Force Commander directing me to explain

regarding to an alleged mauling incident that accordingly transpired at about 4:30 AM
of March 1, 2023;

4. That during my duty as PNCOD I haven’t received any reports or noticed any incident
transpired in this camp specifically on the time of the alleged mauling incident
occurred.

5. That this affidavit was executed to attest the truthfulness of the foregoing and for all
legal purposes and interests, it may serve best.
