My name is Lee. Once I fell ill. I had headache, sore throat and I felt sick. My mum
called the doctor, Mr Jones. He came in the afternoon and took my temperature. Then he
looked at my throat. Mr Jones said that I had a cold. He gave me some medicine and told to
stay in bed and not to go to school for a few days.
In three days, I felt better. I went to Mr Jones to the hospital. He took my temperature
again, looked at my throat and said that it was okay. Mr Jones also said that I should eat
healthy food, do exercises and drink enough water to keep fit. So I ate more salads and eggs,
I didn`t eat sweets and fizzy drinks. I also joined our school football club. Now I feel much
better.

1. These animals live in the Arctic regions. They spend a lot of their time on sea ice. They
can travel long distances on the ice that drift through Arctic waters. They feed mainly on sea
mammals, especially seals. They are good hunters.
2. They are very smart and social animals. They live in Africa. Most of them live in
rainforests. Their arms are longer than their legs. They have coats of brown or black hair.
But their faces, large ears, hands, and feet are bare.
3. This animal has a black back and a white belly. They are found mainly in the southern half

are excellent swimmers and divers. They use their short, paddlelike wings as flippers for
swimming.

long legs. A sand-colored coat of hair covers the body. They live in deserts of Africa and
Asia. Most of them are domestic, or learned to help people.

can take a lot of time to travel long distances. Cars and buses are faster than bikes but they are more
expensive.
A train is ideal for travelling long distances within the same country, or between countries, which are
connected by land. Travelling by train is cheaper and more comfortable than by bus or by car.
If you need to travel through the water, ships are another kind of transport. Big ships can take us to faraway
lands.
Airplanes are also a great way to travel. Many people choose to go by planes if they need to go to a certain
place or to another country quickly.
