he Founder Chairman, B.P. Padala,
hailed from Ramavaram Village, Waran-
gal district, Telangana. This erstwhile
engineer donned the entrepreneurial hat
to establish ROOTS Junior College, Koti,
in 1991, using a capital of just Rs 1 lakh. En-
trenched in the love for teaching, learning,
and interacting with students, the core team
continues to remain committed to ensuring
that they plant the roots of education with-
out making it a bitter experience for children.
In 2008, Padala noticed the lack of options
outside for students without an aptitude for
science. He shifted his focus to Liberal Arts.
ROOTS became the first Degree College in
Telangana to get an Osmania University af-
filiation for its BBA course. Over the years,
ROOTS has been offering exciting New Age
Specializations such as data science, film,
media, design, and hotel management open
avenues and make students industry-ready.
ROOTS gives its students an edge in the job
market by ensuring regular interaction with
