Hi. When you add the texture overlays to the designs
they cover the whole canvas not just the image so
when they are downloaded the texture is
everywhere, not just on the image itself (hope that

I use the grid quite a bit to place objects evenly or
evenly staggered or whatever (tiny bit OCD) and
when I decrease the grid size from 80, it just seems
to disappear on my laptop and ipad. I like having
different options for guides for placement, and i like
having a snapping feature, whether its being able to
set a center line or lining words up by top or bottom. I
like that I can turn it on and off but would like more

objects and have it burn through the image so the

We need the ability to change the color of each letter
within a word/phrase with the distort feature and not
have to use a new text box for each color. This is
pretty limiting and time consuming. Surprised this not
an option on the platform. Also we should be able to
choose a color palette and have the option for the
color palette to automatically apply to the lettering.
So if there are 5 colors in palette and a 10 letter
phrase every 2 letters would have a different color
from the palette. From lightest to dark or vice versa.

The textures Kittl offers are great! However, when
you try to download a graphic with texture (to place
the image on shirt or any other product you'll need a

Whereas a texture mask would solve this issue.

that I create. Then I put another layer on top of that

I would like to feature request a filter out option for
the element assets. This would be beneficial for Kittl
users to speed up load time when looking for certain
elements.

The filter out options I would like to see are Free,

Premium, Vector files, and Image files.

Example: If a user wants to search for "Dog" and

wants it to be only premium/vector files. By checking
the boxes for premium and vector files, the search
will only show the user premium and vector file
assets, filtering out the free and image file assets.

Example 2: If a user wants to see only all free and

vector file illustration assets, this filter out option
would speed up the process instead of having to
load all 20k+ and growing illustration assets.

I'm quite surprised it doesn't seem you can select a
word in a paragraph and make it bold or italic. Am I

Kittl is awesome and probably will grow to be even
better. However, for some of us that still use

If I hold Ctrl and I use the mousewheel up or down
on my mouse Kittl will zoom in on my artboard but it
does so kind of recklessly in huge percentages from

On complex vectors, it keeps downloading a jpeg
instead of a png (screenshot shows I clicked PNG
and it's spinning, but I got a JPG)

It's a very frustrating bug: you have a nice vector

design with text and texture, you click to download
"PNG" with background removed and high quality,
and you start modifying the design and text for the
next thing in the series. Only it didn't download a
PNG, it downloaded a JPG and you are past the
number of undo levels to get it back!

This is my first "series" where I wanted to overwrite

the same text and graphics over and over, so now I

I love how you can freely transform distort and skew
text within a project to reshape the letters to fit your
composition. Unless I'm missing it, I don't think there
is a way to do this with a piece of art (ex. an AI

Have the Document Colors in the palette change on
an ACTUAL CLICK- not just when the cursor touches
them. What happens is when you click on a color
you want and then drag your mouse back to your
design, the cursor often touches one of those saved
palette colors and changes the element to that color.
This happens ALL the time. Then you have to go
back and do it again, and then make sure you swing
your cursor around so you don't hit any of them
again. It is very frustrating and wastes time.
Sometimes I have to go back two times because my
Change Document Colors with a cursor hit a different color again. What would solve

The zoom feature using the mouse with the alt key
(windows) jumps by huge amounts, and then jumps
by a different amount when zooming the other way.
For example, if I choose a 10% zoom with the + at
the bottom of the screen, then hold alt and scroll one
amount with the mouse, it jumps to 105%. Then if I
scroll one amount the other direction, it goes to 5%.
It seems to me like it should, at the very least, just go
to the next pre-set zoom. So 10% would scroll to

Your editor has to be super powerful. I know you are

Starting week 2 if you mark the board transparent &
download, it still somehow shows a white
background. Or, a black one. I have tried sometimes
3 times to fix this.

I know how to delete cookies, temp files etc. I only

use a PC working.

I did over the weekend a set of 30 affirmation cards I

was erasing for t shirts. Only white backgrounds.
They are all done. It took alot of extra time.

I went to upload for 2 t shirts & they were again

showing a white background. My entire file shows
transparent backgrounds!!

I had to waste time & redo them back here for no

reason. I have 28 more to worry about!

I see textures used by many Kittl designers.
Unfortunately, I see no identification number or name
for those textures they used. So, it becomes a
problem to find the same texture in the Kittl Texture
library. I saw a great designer use a "linen" texture,
but could not find it in the Kittl "Fabric" category in
the Textures section of Kittl. I know that Kittl has put
the textures into categories such as "Grain" and
"Paper" and Marble." But I see no way to identify a
specific texture file within those categories. As you
add more textures, this becomes more trouble as
some categories have many (50) textures already. I
suggest showing us a code number or texture file
number or sequential number for each file, showing
us that in the category folder. The thumbnails are so
small it is hard to determine which is which by
thumbnails alone, as I saw with the fabric textures. I
want to identify which texture a designer used (using
a texture file number), and then search the Kittl
library so I can use that same texture on another
design I make. That would save time and effort. It
would be good if this ID number for the file showed
up in the Layers panel too if possible, so when I look
at a template designed by another designer, I can

Minor issue, but If I have a project open on an art
board and click on "Design," the pop up says,
"Attention. This action replaces your current project.
You can also create a new project instead." If you
click on "Replace," it replaces what's on your art

I would like an easy way to add an overall tint to a
Kittl project, within Kittl. For example if you want to
tint the entire project red, or sepia. If this exists

I saw there is something in the IMAGE SETTINGS/

removing a single color. I tried that, but it only

Having 2 dark mode options, grey and dark grey
would be so wonderful, and less painful than this
bright white UI! It's a bit hard on my eyes, so a
workaround to cut down on some of the brightness
that I've done in the meantime is to add a grey
rectangle and enlarge it so that that covers the entire
workspace, send it to the back and lock it. Would be
so lovely to have the panels in grey tones as well.

In Canva when you upload a custom/purchased font,
the font name displays in the format of the font

Can you create an app on Shopify that would allow

Objective: To offer a personalization option for

Currently, adjusting the file dimensions when you
export/download is a little clunky. It automatically
resizes the dimensions because the ratio is locked,
and it resizes again if you change DPI. Templates
also don't scale automatically when you resize the
artboard. Some use cases, like Amazon Merch for
t-shirt designs, have a required file dimension of
4500 x 5400. Right now if I use a t-shirt template and
then change the artboard to those dimensions, it
makes the design tiny and I have to manually resize
and center it before editing. Auto-fit to the new
artboard size (at least the width) would save some
time. Also, when downloading the file, if you are
using a template and didn't change the artboard
dimensions, the ratio is locked and you can't get
exactly 4500 x 5400 when you download. The file is
unusable with Amazon Merch unless it's those exact
dimensions, so I either have to change the artboard
dimensions and then manually resize the design, or
download and then use another program/tool to
place the design in a file with the needed
Fixed Dimensions - Artboard & dimensions. Resizing the design manually is less

I think it would be better if there were new ways of
viewing and choosing objects. Currently I need to
use a lot of scrolling, although there is an expansion
of the category to the entire screen, I still don't see
much practicality in this feature.

Add a context sensitive menu that displays details
about the element. When doing a keyword search
the results appear but I have no idea what
collection(s) the results belong to or are a part of.
Creating this supplies the ability to go further into
related items.
Another option would be to use say control + click to
go into the collection instead of adding it to the
artboard.
This would make the search results that much more
versatile.

When making a duplicate of an object with a border,
then scaling the second object, can we keep the
border weight the same as the original object was?

There are many ovals in the H Designer, but the
shaping text in a circle does not allow for shape
change, only size change. Normally when pulling
down on the bottom edit point, that would change it
from circular to oval, but this just enlarges the size
That means one has to use either the Arch or
Custom methods, and neither are suitable for an
oval. It can be done, but it takes an enormous
