RE: Parent-Teacher Interviews—Thursday, November 23, 2023, 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Dear Parents/Guardians,

On the evening of Thursday, November 23, 2023, from 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm, O’Gorman
High School will be hosting Parent-Teacher Interviews. This is an excellent opportunity to meet
with teachers to discuss your child’s strengths, needs, and next steps in their learning. It is
highly recommended that all parents/guardians attend this event as Friday, November 3, 2023
marks the half-way point of Semester 1.

Parent-Teacher Interviews will occur in the Anne MacDonald Gymnasium at the school.
In addition to Parent-Teacher Interviews, there will be many community services present to
showcase their involvement in the community. These include:

• Porcupine Health Unit

• Kunuwanimano Child & Family Services
• Sports for Kids Timmins
• Youth Wellness Hub
• Children’s Treatment Centre
• Northern College

School board support staff will be on hand to share information about our various in-house
services. You will have the opportunity to meet members of our Catholic School Parent

hhdsfsfsd
Council and earn a ballot for an exciting door prize if you complete the school climate
survey.

As part of this event, the school will also provide free pizza and drinks in the cafeteria for
those that RSVP and attend the event (limit two slices per person). You can RSVP by emailing
ohtmsec@ncdsb.on.ca or by calling the school. Tickets for pizza and drinks will be available in
the gymnasium.

Note that Mid-Term Report Cards will be first available for pick at Parent-Teacher
Interview night. Reports not picked up will be distributed to students on Friday, November 24,
2023 during Period 1 classes.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the
school. We look forward to seeing everyone and discussing your child’s progress.

God bless,

Dr. Robertson
Principal
