Assignment 1: Reflective Journal Entry

English is the language most used in the world, Because of that English is a language that we
must learn since the influence at the world. However, Learning English is not easy because there are
many challenge that we must face, such as poor knowledge of vocabulary, poor mastery of the
grammar, low ability in speaking, difficulty understanding when listening, and still not being able to
find an effective way to learn. Because of that, you need to be careful and serious so you can easily
learn and understand it. One way is to build an environment that supports the learning process, such
as listening to music, watching videos, watching films, even playing games in English, which is an
effective way to develop our understanding.

Right now my knowledge of English is pretty decent because the lack of my seriousness but I
have a friend that help me to understand English at some point. Because of that im slowly getting to
understand English. Right now English isn’t a language that influence me much because my
surrounding at home never used English to speak. Education is an important thing that must be
learned, therefore, with the limitations that I have, of course it must be focused on supporting the
future so that it will help in the future, of course.

At the future I think English will be helpful for me because I want to make a business that go
international because I think agricultural sector will be an easy sector to compete at international
and the influence of agricultural sector isn’t limited to only 1 thing.

As we can see English is a language that breaking the language barrier at many country and it
influence really will help anyone that have a knowledge of English at some point. Improving your
skills in English will be very helpful in solving these problems, one of which is interacting with
foreigners. One way to improve my English skills is by reading anything in English, watching films with
good English subtitles. Apart from that, it is also necessary to learn English with close friends at
certain times, one of which is by speaking English. Looking for new vocabulary is also needed to
improve my English so that my English skills can improve further because the English skills I have will
certainly be an obstacle in interacting with foreigners, especially interacting or using it in the
agricultural sector. Therefore, the ability to understand English will be very useful in the future and
how to improve my understanding of English has been explained at the beginning in various ways so
that it can be used and practiced in the future. Maybe that's just a story about understanding the
ability to speak English as preparation for the future so that it can be applied in the future, especially
the ability to use English to support progress in the agricultural sector, so that agriculture in
Indonesia can compete internationally well and excel.

Assignment 2: Reading Response

Sustainable agricultural technology innovation has changed many aspects of human life, one of which
includes the agricultural sector. Innovation and technological developments in the agricultural sector
have brought about significant changes in our system for producing food. Examples of innovative
developments in the agricultural sector include vertical farming, robotics and automation, internet of
things in agriculture, and the use of drones in agricultural monitoring.
 One example of current innovation in agriculture is vertical farming. This system is an
agricultural system that uses vertical methods for plants, usually used in hydroponic or aeroponic
concepts. The benefit of using this system is that it does not require a large area of land to plant plants.
Usually used in limited spaces such as urban areas or home gardens.

he use of robots and automation has also been developed in the agricultural sector. Farmers
have utilized it to perform tasks such as planting, pruning, and harvesting automatically. Apart from
that, farmers can know precisely when the plants can be harvested and processed accurately.
Technology can also increase production efficiency.

The internet of things in agriculture is the connection of sensor devices in a network to

exchange data automatically on the farm. This technology can control various aspects, namely
monitoring temperature, humidity and water needs. This helps farmers optimize the use of resources
and can reduce waste. The use of drones in agriculture is currently increasingly popular. Drones are
equipped with sensor cameras which can help collect visual data to help monitor plants in the field.

From the articles that have been read, it certainly really helps life, especially in the agricultural
sector, the technology that has been developed really helps farmers in collecting data and monitoring
plants in the field. With this innovation, farmers can certainly optimize the production of food products
and be more efficient in using the resources and energy they spend, besides that they will get the
results that the farmers want.
