Unit 1

Everyone have their own way of life and so do I, today I would like to talk about
three daily activities that might be interesting to foreigners. What I put in my
priority is my breakfast eating habit. I’m a night owl who usually gets out of the
bed quite late. Therefore, whenever I have to get up to go to school on time, I
don’t have enough energy to make my own breakfast. Instead, I will grab
something to eat during the school breaktime, such as banh mi, sticky rice, instant
noddles,… so it looks like a brunch though. I think our breakfast has a lot more
nutrition than others’ who come from another country. Because we assume that
breakfast is the main meal of the day, which offers us energy for all day long.
Secondly, eating street food. In Vietnam, we have a large number of street food
vendors, so whenever I have mood for eating out, I just hanging out with my
friends and pick a random one to enjoy my delicious dishes while take a look at
busy street. Last but not least, using fish sauces instead of salt. It is a staple
ingredient of numerous food like curry and sauces, and is derived from fish that is
allowed to ferment. In Vietnam, fish sauce is very popular and can be used in
almost every Vietnamese dishes. I really love its flavour, and the food that doesn’t
contain fish sauces seems bland to me. In conclusion, we might not think those
things are amazing, but for those who aren't from here, they seem interesting.

Unit 2
A successful businesswoman has always been my passion since I was a small kid. I
have always been in an effort to one day being a successful businesswoman.
However, it is not easy. It requires a spirit that never quits. I am sure I will achieve
my goal. In my writing, I will share three most important things that I do every day
to attain this passion.
What I put in my priority is improving my knowledge of business and economy. I
need to brush up on my business and economics expertise. They are
unquestionably important foundations for my future profession. As a result, I
chose to enroll in Foreign Trade University. I am currently a freshman at this
university, where I am studying Foreign Business Management. In addition, I
occasionally supplement my knowledge by using the Internet, such as online
classes, business newspapers, and so on.
In the second place, I need to broaden my knowledge of transferable skills and
improve my English as well. It can’t be denied that English is a valuable asset that
adds to my success. English is now one of the most widely spoken languages in
the world. If I don't work on it, it will become my weakness. I learn English in a
variety of methods, such as practising with my friends, enrolling some English
courses and listening to podcasts, ect. Moreover, soft skills are one of the most
essential things that I need to acquire for the future job. I usually read books to
develop my critical-thinking skills, which are important to make well-reasoned
decisions. I always set goals for every study session and prioritize tasks so I am able to
complete work and assignments on time.
Last but not least, I should build a strong network. Networking is about building
and nurturing long-term relationships with the people I meet. When I invest my
time in building meaningful relationships—personal and professional—I create a
network I can rely on throughout my career. Networking allows me to develop
and improve my skill set, stay up-to-date with the job market, meet prospective
mentors and gain access to resources that can promote my development.
Everyone has their own dream and so do I. Every day, I take small steps to achieve
my goal, to have better life in the future as a businesswoman.

Unit 4
For the time being, our reckless influences have had a significant impact on the
Earth. These negative consequences can have an impact on human behavior,
resulting in mass migrations or battles over clean water. As a result, we must take
action to save our green planet. There are three things that we should do to
become more environmentally responsible.
What I put in my priority is reducing our waste. Every product we buy has an
environmental footprint and could end up in landfill. The impact of plastic
pollution on our oceans is becoming increasingly clear, having drastic impacts on
marine life. Recycling what we can reduces the amount of new materials we are
making, and upcycling is a creative way to make old items into something more
valuable. For example, this could be reusing a jam jar as a candle holder, or using
old tins as plant pots. Furthermore, strive to waste as little food as possible and
compost any organic waste that cannot be eaten.
In second place, we should save electricity. When we consume less power, we
reduce the amount of toxic fumes released by power plants, conserve the earth’s
natural resources and protect ecosystems from destruction. By taking steps to
reduce our energy intake, we’ll contribute to a healthier and happier world.
Therefore, turn off the lights if not in use, unplug our electronics if unnecessary,
turn off the air conditioning units if it’s not needed. Just turn them off and unplug
them, which is an effective way to protect our globe.
Last but not least, we ought to plant trees as many as possible. Trees provide so
many benefits to our everyday lives. They filter clean air, provide fresh drinking
water, help curb climate change, and create homes for thousands of species of
plants and animals. Therefore, grow some trees or vegetable to enjoy shade,
moisture conservation and eat fresh ingredients made on your own.
In conclusion, there are a variety of solutions to tackle our Earth’s problems,
however, we should take steps immediately because we don’t have that much
time left.
