29 Context clues are hints to the meaning of a difficult word. These hints can be

30 in the same sentence or in the sentences before or after the sentence that

31 uses the difficult word .

32 “CONTEXT CLUES” are specially designed for you to learn the skills in

33 finding the words which have the same meaning.

34 In the context clues, the clue may appear within the same sentence as the

35 word to which it refers that a reader can use to understand the meanings of

36 new or unfamiliar words.
