JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Head-Exports


Reporting to: Directors

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement export strategies to maximize profits and minimize costs.
2. Prepare export documentation such as invoices, packing lists and bills of lading.
3. Establish and manage relationships with international partners, including distributors, agents, and
vendors.
4. Monitor international regulations and compliance requirements.
5. Negotiate shipping contracts and freight forwarding agreements.
6. Liaise with customs authorities and other government bodies to ensure compliance with
regulations.
7. Develop and maintain export databases, records, and reports.
8. Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback.
9. Address customer inquiries and complaints.
10. Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize export operations.

Qualifications:
 12+ years of proven experience in the export business, preferably in the same industry.
 Thorough knowledge of foreign trade regulations and compliance requirements.
 Excellent knowledge of market data and dynamics.
 Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
 Ability to travel abroad to meet with clients and develop business relationships.
