Content Standard

The learner demonstrates understanding of key concepts of parallelogram and


triangle similarity.

Performance Standard

The learner is able to investigate, analyze, and solve problems involving


parallelograms and triangle similarity through appropriate and accurate representation.

Learning Competency

Proves theorems on the different kinds of parallelogram (Rectangle, Square and


Rhombus). (M9GE-IIIc-1)

Objectives
At the end of 60 minutes session, 75% of student from Grade 9 expected to achieve
at least 75% proficiency on:
1. Identify different kind of special parallelogram (rectangle, square, rhombus)
2. Proving and apply theorems of special parallelogram and;
3. Enjoy the tasks.

square. Since a rhombus is also a parallelogram,
