Objective(s):
- To learn new vocabulary on pg. 54 and to be able to properly use those words.
- Making a vocabulary journal(pg. 55), where students will track the new words that they learn

Motivation
WARMING-UP:
Whiteboard,
- T goes over the vocabulary from the last lesson and asks the Ss for markers
5 mins
definitions and example sentences.
- After listening to the audio files, T asks Ss to guess the correct definition of
words in Exercise B.
ACTIVITY:
- T asks Ss to look at the blue box on page 55 (Vocabulary Skill) Textbook, marker,
whiteboard
- T asks the students to choose a page in their textbook, where they will write 10 mins
the words that they learn every class, whether these words are book-related or
not.
- T asks the Ss to count the total amount of words for that month, and keep
yearly progress like that.
- T then asks the Ss to pair up and then begin Exercise C on page 55. Textbook
- T picks one student to present to class how the exercise needs to be played out. 15 mins
Production
- T picks one of the topics and goes first to talk about it, after the T has
been discussing the topic for at least 30 seconds, he asks the student
to try and do the same, with the same topic.
