AN ORDER ORGANIZING / REORGANIZING THE BARANGAY PEACE AND ORDER

COMMITTEE OF BARANGAY PALGUYOD POZORRUBIO, PANGASINAN

WHEREAS, Section 2, Executive order 366 mandates the creation of the Barangay Peace and Order
Committee in every barangay nationwide.

NOW THEREFORE, I, MARIO S. PRADO, PUNONG BARANGAY of PALGUYOD hereby

organize/reorganize the BARANGAY PEACE AND ORDER COMMITTEE of barangay PALGUYOD,
Pozorrubio, Pangasinan

SECTION 2 : FUNCTIONS

1. Initiate , Coordinate and monitor the implementation of peace and order program
and projects of the barangay.
2. Serves as info-gathering mechanism pertaining to peace and order.
3. Monitor and check the nefarious activities of criminal elements.
4. Supervice barangay tanods and identifying barangay constituents with strong deviant
behavior for referrel to appropriate authorities.
5. Maintain continuing dialogue, close coordination and report with the city, municipal
POC, the city or municipal management coordinating committee and the law
enforcement units operating in the barangay.
6. Formulate plans and recommend measures which will improve and enchance peace
and order and public safety in its area of jurisdiction;
7. Supervise, coordinate and monitor the operations of all community based anti-crime
activities undertaken within the barangay;
8. Advocate for the passage of SB resolutions/ordinances responsive to related issues
and concerns and secure the enclosure of childrens program in the execution of the
agenda
9. Protect and assist children in need of special protection and refer cases filed against
child abuser and proper agencies.
10. Monitor situational reports on children, prepared quarterly updates
11. Perform such other functions and other child related law’s in matters of child and
parent education, health entrainments etc.

SECTION 3 : EFFECTIVITY
This order shall take effect immediately.
