OPEN SEA 50 % of vessel's max draft
COASTAL NAVIGATION 20 % of vessel's max draft
PORT APPROACHING MANOEVERING, CHANNEL, CANAL, SBM, CBM 10 % of vessel's max draft but not less than 0,60 meters
ALONGSIDE TERMINALS 1,5 % of the moulded breadth of the vessel, but not less than 0.30 meters
ANCHOR Unprotected: 20 % of vessel's static draft
Protected: 10 % of vessel's static draft
In case of VLCC or deep draft vessel with more than 15 meters draft transit through Malacca strait / Singapore strait minimum UKC to be not less than 3.5 meters (static draft).
Furthermore, VLCCs and deep draught vessels navigating in the Straits of Malacca, Singapore or bound to Tanjung Pelepas STS area shall, as far as it is safe and practicable, proceed at a speed of not more than 12 knots over the ground
